Chapter ninteen

Grace's PoV

"Where have you been?" "Pardon me?" I answered or more like asked in a surprised to a quit annoyed regulus

"I said: where have you been" it sounded so hard and cold that i almost didn't recognise the regulus that I grew up to know. "I was with some friends"

I shrugged not really wanting to tell him I was with his brother with everything that went down between the two of them. But honestly, what was I supposed to hide? That I am meeting up with people

"Friends? Who?" He demanded and I was a little taken aback by his sudden change of behaviour but I tried to sound cool about it so I simply said: "some classmates"

"Don't lie to me" "I am not lying" that was true, I wasn't. I saw him getting more annoyed and he briefly turned around as if he was speaking to a child who couldn't understand him

"I know you were with my brother" he said pointing a finger right in the middle of my chest. I was surprised but I casually scoffed his finger from my chest "so?"

I turned around sitting on a couch, regulus followed me suit and stood right in front of me. He let out a laugh "so? He and his friends are no good, you should stay away from them"

Even though I just sat up, I got up again pissed off. Pissed off by his behaviour and pissed off from the fact that I had to get up "regulus honestly I don't care, they were nice and friendly, they are normal and also you" now was my turn to point my finger on his chest "are no one to tell who I can hang out with"

A small smirk was now plastered on his face "maybe I can't, but your mother sure does" he said in a almost lower whisper the last part

I was shocked "you know what? Just fuck off and stay away from me, maybe it's you and your little gang back there that I should stay away from" I said pushing him out of the way and making my way into my room.

I went into my room and I was welcomed by a rather happy Mia "so how were the guys?" She asked in happy tone but I wasn't for it and she noticed "is everything ok G?"

"I am just not in the mood, sorry Mia, I have to write a letter, I promise you that I'll tell you everything later ok?" She nodded yes a bit preoccupied but she eventually focused her attention back on the book she was reading

I went to my desk and I took a paper and a pen and I started to write to one of the only people that I know gets me the best: Camille

Dear Camille
I hope you and your family are doing well, I have so much to tell you even though it's just our first day. I wish I was there with you but Hogwarts it's magical, in an abstract way. I've made friends, enemies and I met people. There is this girl in my room, she is really nice her name is Mia. I also met the Black family and I get along with them pretty well, even though two thing: I think they are afraid of me and I already had a fight with one of them: Regulus. The one I grew closer to. Great start. Then there is this gang called the marauders and they are very funny, and one of them, James, is pretty hot. I also met my cousin: Tom Riddle, you must of have heard of him even though you are in a totally different country. Nothing much to say he is a douchbag. But tell me about you, how are you? How are Gabry and Addy? Hope you are doing well

I laced the letter to sky's foot and looked at her. "Get this to Camille ok? I know it's a long ride but will you do this for me?' I asked petting her head, she nodded as if she could understand me

Maybe she can, i always wondered that. What if animals can understand us? Well I have talked to some of them, snakes most likely, I am a perselthongue just like my ancestors. Not that I really care

"Ready for dinner?" Asked Mia closing her book "looking forward to it" i said sarcastically. We both went out of the door and made our way to the great hall.

"Hey grace wait up!" I was about to take a seat at the slathering table but I was stopped by a running Regulus. I ignored him and eventually sat down, thing that he also did but unfortunately he did it next to me

"I have to apologise " "I don't wanna hear you Regulus" I said turning my face to him "actually, as I said before just fuck off" I told him looking away from him "but I am sorry, I shouldn't ha-"

I got up from the table as I saw my new friends from the gryffindor table. They greeted me with a great smile. Maybe I was doing this to annoy regulus but honestly who cares?

"Hey G, what's up?" Asked Sirius giving me a small peck on the check greeting me, followed suit by the other boys "pissing off your brother" "I like that" "wanna sit with us?"

I thought about that, truly, but I didn't want to create some kind of war my first day here "no thanks anyways, Potter if you look at your right you could see a rather nervous Lily Evans"

We all turned our heads to the right to see a Lily Evans looking at us with some sort of mood that I couldn't quit understand, annoyed, sad and angry at the same time

"Anyways see you guys tomorrow " "wait up, before you go we wanted to invite you to a party" said James coming closer to me "a party? Tell me about it" "it's in the room of requirement and we are throwing it, you should come"

"I don't know what that is" I said laughing remembering him that these were my firsts days here "right" he shily laughed. How cute

"I'll wait for you out of your common room at 10 pm all right?" "Sounds great" "great" we stood there awkwardly looking at each other before I remembered them that I should head back to my table and I did so

I was welcomed by a smiling Mia "seems like today went good with them" "seems like that" I said smiling, not daring to watch Regulu's face. But eventually I did

I expected him to be angry but he just looked sad. Maybe I went to far? No Grace, you are free here to do whatever you want, there is no Vonda Rosier here to stop you. And with that thought we started eating the amazing food that was on the table
