So, he was the 'bloody demon' Hook talked about. One thing was sure, he didn't look like it.

"You hear it too, huh, Emma ?" he asked.

"What ? How do you-"

"I know everything. And... the cries, you hear them," he declared.

"Yeah, and ? Why does it matter ?" I asked.

"Because it means you're one of us,"

"One of us ?" I didn't understand.

"You'll find out. I'm here to propose you something," he said.

"What makes you think I'll accept whatever you're suggesting ?" I snapped.

"Because a deal involves two interested parties and I know that in this case, you'll love that offer,"

"Get to it. What do you want ?"

"I want you to kill the captain, with the dreamshade," he stated and I thightened my grip on the sword.

"Hook ?"

"Hook, Killian Jones, whatever. Kill him with the poison. You'll be free," he explained.

"You may know my name, but you don't seem to know the rest. I'm not a killer. And when we get to the dreamshade, my deal with him will be done. And he guarrentes me to get back to my family. I trust him more than you,"

"What tells you that he'll let you go back to your family ? He could use you and your magic to help kill the Dark One, afterwards. That's what this is all about anyways," he replied. "You will never leave this island if you don't. Only I decide who leaves and I'll make sure you stay here as long as you kill the captain,"

"I'll find a way to leave. You're not the only one to have magic," I answered.

"Yes, but I'm now the one who has the beans," he declared and opened his hand where the three magic beans lied. I tried to take them but I couldn't. "Kill the captain," he repeated. As I took off the sword, well he... dissapeared.

"Oh, one more thing," I heard from behind. I turned around and saw him leaned on a tree, with the beans still in his hands. "Peter Pan never fails," he declared before vanishing in a cloud of smoke.

I kept looking around, in case he was still there, but he was really gone, with the beans, which were our only way out of this island. The cries were starting to fade away.

I started to walk back to camp, thinking about that encounter and what it caused. I tried to convince myself that I wasn't stuck on this island. If my mom was there, she would've told me to have hope, like she always does.

What was I going to tell the captain ? That I lost the beans ? I didn't really lose them, I didn't have them. He did. Maybe I should have cast some protection spell on the camp. Pan's magic might have been more powerful, though.

When I got to the camp, he was awake, sitting on his bed. Well what we had as beds.

"Swan, where were you ?" he asked. I couldn't help but think he looked worried.

"I just... woke up, walked around and... met someone," I whispered, not to wake the others. He got up and brought me out of the camp, not so far.

"Pan, was it ?" he asked.

"Yes, the 'bloody demon'," I imitated his accent. "How do you know ?"

"Just found out the beans were gone," he said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't-"

"It's not your fault, Swan," he said. I lifted my head as I heard the cries again.

"Do you hear it ?" I asked.

"Hear what ?"

"Cries ! Like... children crying," I said, looking around, hoping to get an answer.

"Ah, yes. Those cries are the lost boys'. Only orphans hear it. Remember when I told you I knew about abandonned ones, because of the lost boys," he said.

"Beanstalk, right ?"

"Yes. I guess it means... you're a lost girl," he declared.

"I am not. I've found my parents now. Actually, I could be with them if it wasn't of you," I replied.

"Then maybe you haven't really forgiven them," he said. I didn't reply. I could not even decide if I really forgave them. My childhood was hell, because of them. "You should sleep if you want to have enough energy for Dead Man's Peak,"

I nodded and headed back to camp.
