Chapter 25 : Thinking

I stayed there for a few days, that's what I thought. I never saw that Cora again, I just saw some guards that came to give me food. I had tried everything I could to escape, but without my powers, there was no way out.

I couldn't help but think this woman was crazy. She wanted to take Henry away from Regina just to win her back.

And while I was there, I couldn't help but worry about Henry and what Pan might do to him. Only Hook and I knew that this demon was chasing after him. Staying in that cell alone only gave me time to think and imagine the worst scenarios.

I also, sadly, had the time to think about Hook and about what he did, hiw he made me feel. My heart and my head were saying two complete distant things that only complicated everything even more. Plus, I was afraid, so afraid of love. It never really had worked for me, but somewhere deep inside, I was still wishing for it.

Why did everything always have to be so complicated? Why couldn't I just have a normal life? I was an orphan for so long, ended up in jail and had a baby, with the son of Rumplestiltskin, then my son came up at my door and brought me to a curse that revealed I belonged in a fairy tale world, that my parents were Snow White and Prince Charming. I even got to Neverland with Captain Hook, who's not the villain in this story and now I'm in a cell, held by the mother of the Evil Queen, trying to understand my feelings for a pirate, while I'm worried Peter Pan is going to hurt my family.

Sometimes I wondered if this was even real. Maybe I'd wake up and when I opened my eyes, I'd see that littke cupcake and candle that I had bought myself.

I sighted and closed my eyes. How was I going to get out of here? If I stayed here just a little longer, I'd loose my mind!

"Still hoping the pirate would come and save you?" I heard a voice and I opened my eyes to see Cora.

"How do you even know about him?" I replied.

"We've crossed paths before and I do know he has strong feelings for you, but, as much as he wants it, he won't be able to save you." she declared.

"Why wouldn't he?"

"Because I need you here and I intend on keeping you here. I have power, he doesn't. I will win." Cora said with confidence.

"He's not the only one looking for me." I said.

"They won't be able to get you out of there. Stop hoping they will." she replied.

"Oh, I know they will come. They are my family, and they always succeed. Maybe if you hadn't messed up so bad with you daughter, you would not have to go through them. What kind of mother does something so horrible she has to make her daughter loose everything for her daughter to come back to her?" I snapped and suddently I was thrown behind by a magic force to the wall and my head hit it, before I blacked out.
