" you what? " your mouth agape as you look at Taehyung with wide open eyes, yet Jungkook's face remains neutral.
" yes, I'm sorry. I had started catching feelings for you since I've helped you find Jungkook in the very initial period. However, I wasn't sure about it until the day I saw Misoo manipulating your food to kill you, using your weaknesses against you." the crack in Taehyung's voice barely noticable, yet you both did.
" i confronted Misoo about the same when she spat her ill intentions to me, asking me to involve in her shitshow." Taehyung confesses.
" Jungkook, I'm sorry. I don't intend to take away your girl, i never want or wanted to. You're the best suitable to her, someone so gentle and humble deserves a mature and loving guy like you.
And when, Misoo confirmed her suspicions, she tried poisoning you when you were missing for the last night of our trip, but fortunately she failed." A sigh escapes Jungkook's lips as he holds the elder's hand.
" hyung, you need not feel guilty about anything, neither your feelings nor your girlfriend's shitshow. I'm just glad that you are humble enough to confess it." Jungkook smiles.
" Jungkook, this is just something very little i could do to heal the untreated wounds in past, i wish if I had done this sooner, i wouldn't have lost someone." Taehyung looks down, hiding the whirlwind of emotions within him.
With a quick turn, Taehyung disappears when he feels that he wouldn't be able to hold his emotions for a longer period of time.
You turn to Jungkook when you both are finally alone in the hallway, " you knew about this all long?"
Jungkook chuckles, " yes but no." You squint your eyes at him.
" I mean, I knew someone messed up with your food, but I didn't know that someone was Misoo." Jungkook completes as you sigh.
" Really, i didn't expect her to stoop this low for her infatuation." You mutter.
Jungkook sighs, " anyways, now that the matter is finally over. Can we go on a date?" Jungkook asks, flashing you his puppy eyes that you both know you cannot deny to.

Taehyung
" hyung, I really felt better after helping Jungkook. Old memories flashed through my mind, bringing back the pain as well." I muttered lowly on the call, as I heard Hoseok hyung speak.
" Tae, I'm glad that you've learnt your lesson and you feel better, I don't know what happened between you two, but it's a high time. Someone should try to initiate the conversation, sort out things." He adviced.
I hummed with a nod and continued to exit the uni when I bumped into someone.
I hissed, " sorry " i muttered before hearing the familiar voice.
" that's okay, be careful."
Hoseok's voice no longer pierces i my ear as I looked up to familiar siren eyes.
" j-jiminie" I whisper, hanging up the call.
The man in front of me is the same man who I broke two years back. He hadn't drastically changed, but his body features. His face was the same as high school but he had gained muscles and some weight now.
" Jimin, is that you?" I muster up courage to speak.
" it's been a long time." He replies with a faint smile.
" I'm sorry— I shouldn't have—I was a terrible person oh god!" I finally let out the tears that stung the back of my eyes.
Jimin says nothing, " follow me." he finally says before I trail behind him, just like we used to.
After a walk of good ten minutes, we reach to a café. Occupying the sits near the window, Jimin places our orders.
An espresso and chocolate macchiato.
He still remembers my favourite.
Once Jimin is back with orders, he finally begins to speak.
" Tae, what happened was in past. I learnt many things, from you, from the situations. When I moved here, I met new people, experienced new situations. They all taught me to forgive, I was so stubborn that I could never empathise you. And if you say you're terrible, no. Maybe you were just fifteen." Jimin completes with a smile, the same smile I was dying to see.
" so— did you forgive me? I really didn't mean anything I said, I was just bat shit crazy!" I started blabbering earning a chuckle from him.
" stop that! I've forgave you long back, my alien. "
