CHAPTER ONE, PART EIGHT.

ESCAPE?

Once Athien woke up, he was surprised to be facing only inches away from the other, let alone he was cradling him.

" Well... This isn't too bad... " He whispered, trying to not wake Sebastian. He nuzzled into his arms and even placed one of his arms around the friend. However, when Sebastian woke up, he wasn't nearly as calm. He was stressed, and overthinking. All of that shortly went away when he looked at the boy, he looked fascinating in the sunrise's morning lighting. He looked gorgeous. A little later, Sebastian woke up and immediately jerked his body away, he then coughs and shakes Athien.

"Time to wake up, man." Sebastian smiles as Athiens eyes flutter open.

"Good morning." Athien scratches his eye and sits up, as does sebastian. Then, they hear a knock on Athiens door.

"Come in!" Athien called out, his mother walking and had a worried look on her face.

"Oh sebastian! You're here.. That's fine, this news has to be told to you somehow.." Athien was confused.

"What's up, ma?" Athien smiled, His mother frowned.

"We are moving out at the end of next month." His mother blurted out, Athiens happy self immediately died.

"What." Athien said monotonically, It ws terrifying. He was hardly ever serious. Sebastian's eyes widen, they both feel like crying.

"Where to, mum.?" Athien said sternly.

"Michigan, In New hampshire.." She muttered.

"Y-you can't make me!.." Athien realised how stupid it was when he said it, he was still a teenager, he couldn't live on his own. Athien immediately hugs Sebastian tightly

"Sweetie.." She said before realising it was her moment to leave them two to talk.

"I-Ill miss you so much.. I don't wanna leave you here, man." Athien was nearly sobbing, Sebastian cradled Athien.

"Uhm, I guess it's a good time to share that next month I'm also leaving?" Sebastian mentioned. Athien looked up at Sebastian.

"Wait. What? When?" Then backed off Sebastian and sat up.

"My mums sending me to boarding school around mid next month.." Sebastian muttered.

"Damn.. I'll miss you so much." They hugged again, it lasted for a long time.

It's summer break, but the worst one yet.

"What do you mean he's gone?!" Athien cried out to Aspen, Sebastian holding him back.

"I-I woke up, went to his room and there was just a letter saying 'Goodbye bye i've run away.' I dunno man!" Aspen puts his hands up in surrender.

"Fucking hell, Damo couldnt just– just wait!" Athien started crying.

"It wasn't supposed to be this way! I was supposed to say goodbye to everyone before leaving, But Sebastians leaving a week before I am, Damos run away and Jordys ignoring me!" Athien sobbed, Sebastian held him.

"Uhh she didnt tell you?" Aspen side eyed Athien... Athien just pauses and looks up at Aspen.

"No.. she hasn't been answering her walkie talkie or when I knock on her door.. What?" Aspen sighs.

"I don't know why she didn't tell you, she moved back to New york.." Athiens face dropped. He falls to his knees and begins sobbing uncontrollably. Sebastian crouches to comfort him but Athien slaps Sebastian away "Dont fucking touch me!" Athien quickly realises what he's done, he stands and runs off back home, Sebastians about to after him, But Aspen grabs Sebastian's arm.

"Don't... You know how Athiens' room is really empty..?" Sebastian raises an eyebrow

"Yeah?"

"He has intense anger issues, when something triggers it he used to rip apart the posters on his wall, tear apart his room basically. He can get.. Violent in these stages. I suggest we try talking to him tomorrow." Aspen sighs and lets go of Sebastian's arm, Sebastian's eyes are wide, Him and Athien were friends for 5 months now, how couldn't he tell?

Athien was sitting in his room crying, well to be honest more so sobbing. In his empty room, he threw his bed sheets on the ground. He was so angry, but so sad..

"You look lonely.." An unsettling voice whispers, Athien shoots his head up and sees the same clown from the sewer, he screams and scrawls to the top of the bed that was tucked in the corner of his room.

"Play with the clown, Athien! It'll make you feel better." The clown scarily chuckles, Athien cries more.

"Leave me alone!.." Athien attempted to bravely call out.

"Oh, that's what Damo wanted... for me to leave him alone." The clown sounded fake and hardly sad. Athien angrily shot his head up, the clown smirked.

"You." Athien stopped sobbing. Athien stood and faced the clown, the clown was stunned.

"You fucking prick! It's all your fault he ran away! You're a worthless annoying piece of shit!" The clown was not expecting this outcome. The clown disappeared and Athien began to cry again.
