chapter 2 - first day

*yawn*

I opened my eyes as I looked at my ceiling

"School....."

I sighed as I was not ready for another week at school as I truly dreaded that place. As I sigh, I wipe my face with my hands as I ponder about what I had forgot about in school but I felt a weight on my chest that wasn't there last night

"Is there a cat under my blanket or something?"

I looked over to my window and it was open as usual so I assumed there was a cat or something on me because I knew Minnie wouldn't do something like this again. Right?

I look underneath my blanket to see some hair on my chest

"It's Minnie."

I sighed again as I took off my entire blanket to see Minnie in some shorts and a tank top since it was pretty hot these days

I blushed again as I realised she was on top of me on my chest as I had an issue.

Morning wood.

I facepalm as I definitely know she can feel it when I was sleeping

"OKAY STOP THAT Y/N!"

I facepalm again as I looked at her, she was breathing through her nose as she slept comfortably on me

"Man she really is cute."

I couldn't stop myself as I reached my hand out as I put it on top of her hair

I caressed her hair up and down as I stared at her sleeping face

Y/N - you must've been tired...

I smile softly as I look outside the window as I hear the birds chirp like they always would. There was some trees outside the house as per the place we lived at and at the very top of the tree that I looked at had a nest.

It's been there as long as I could remember when I moved in here, watching the trees grow longer and longer every year as me and Sana sat in our backyard as nature grew around us. It was a cycle of every season that I loved watching outside my window since I didn't have blinds since the trees blocked out anyone that could look into my room

It was the one thing that I loved and kept me sane when mom and dad died. Hearing new life chirp, watching them come and go as they grew up, the squirrels that climbed through the tree, the owls that hoot in the night, the fireflies that lit up the dark night and cicadas that sang out my window. It's what I love about, home.

I felt her move a bit as I took my hand off as I felt Minnie's body move around as she opened her eyes

Y/N - morning sleepyhead

She softly smiled as she inched closer to my face as she kissed my nose.

Something I didn't expect.

Min - go- good morning-

I blushed as I felt my heart race as she slowly sat up as she wrapped her arms around my neck as she hugged me

Min - sorry I came in again. I felt lonely.

Y/N - it- it's okay.

I softly smiled as I felt my heart pound outside of my chest as I hugged her back as I felt her heartbeat too.

Just the same as mine.

Min - were you caressing my hair while I slept?

I froze as I heard her small laugh
