After my training Rudar promoted me to general and told me that i would get my army soon i went to my room and stared to talk to the sprits of dead generals and asking them for advice early the next morning Zareal led me to my troops " your worried aren't you " he stated "yes " i sighed " when i got my first troops i was worried to everything will be alright your going to do great " 

Has i stepped on the podium i looked down at my troops and stared my speech

" HELLO MY TROOPS WE MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME BUT EVEN AT A GLANCES THAT YOUR THE FINEST SOLDIERS THAT THE EMPIRE HAS WE WILL CRUSH ALL OPPOSITION AND DESTROY THE ENEMY WITH EASE NOW WHO IS READY TO WIN" " WE ARE " They answered

timeskip ten days later

location: edges of the empire

me and my troops marched through the forest we had been tasked with patrolling the outer reaches of the empire for ten days in in that time this happened

day 1: arriving at the outer reaches nothing real happens

day 2: we just keep walking

day 3: we run into a bandit camp i wipe them of the face of this world with Starfall Cataclysm

day 4: we find a village called wheat crop village ya thats the name very creative

day 5: again nothing happened

day 6: we run into another bandit camp i whip them out with ethereal glint

day 7: another bandit camp my troops deal with it this time

day 8: another bandit camp i use the phantom legion to wipe them out

day 9: another bandit camp i swear has nobody been patrolling this place for years i wiped it out with a low level supernova

day 10: we find a bunch of abandoned bandit camps what happened here even when i used ethereal insight it showed nothing

has we marched i noticed something in the distance it was smoke i then order my troops"full ahead" we charged has we got closer i identified the source of the smoke has a burning village with flames erupting everywhere when we arrived at the edge i order my mages to use water magic to put out the fire and told the rest of the forces to look for survivors.

has i looked through the ruble i found a little girl stuck in the rubble

after getting her out i started looking for more survivors and found none

then i told my troops to set up camp and run to give me the statistics

village name:fyuuki

population:5000

deaths: 3000 do to fire 1000 do to ruble 900 death do to smoke

survivors 100

cause of disaster: 4th rank fire spell causing a fire storm do to the village being made of wood

suspect: dragon, semi competent mage, mid class blaze, demon

well a dragon would make sense except for one fact there are no dragon in this region do to being wiped out by a ultimate class dragon slayer

mage isn't likely why would a mage do this well maybe a mage a who is mad at the village for some reason

blaze well they rarely leave the underworld so no and only high class and with permission from the blaze king and promising not to destroy anything

demons are super unlikely since well Rudar and the ruler of demon the first demon lord guy crimson are friends so he wouldn't allow it

ethereal recall isn't showing anything either

wait the only way to block ethereal recall is with darkborn energy so the only beings who have that energy are darkborn which could mean that they have awakened i need to report this to Rudar immediately

we were order by general to explorer the area and report anything strange everything was normal so far until i saw something on tree bark it looked like black goo has i reached for it with my hand it jumped on and moved from my hand on to my shoulder and jumped in my mouth
