Y/N groaned as her head hit the desk she was trying to study at. Her phone was propped on the windowsill in front of her showcasing a picture of Jung Hoseok. Her crush and the guy currently making her tear her hair out. Everytime she sees him post on insta she immediately goes to view it and likes it that she was always the first person to do so. She did it so often there was no way he didn't notice. She had a bad crush on him but they were barely even friends and just going up to someone who you don't know and going "hey I like you" is weird right. Y/N groaned again as her phone vibrated. She looked at the lock screen as her eyes widened. She almost fell off her chair when she saw the notification. Hoseok dmmed her.
Y/N hands shook as she slowly opened the dm from her crush.

Oh it's fine I was wondering if you could tutor me in math because the Street Dance Club is having a competition soon but I have a math test up can you help me catch up -v-;
Y/N moved from her desk to her bed then screamed into her pillow. Y/N was a top student in Hybe High and Hoseok was 'The Prodigy in the Street Dance Club". Hoseok's talent is what made Y/N interested in him in the first place. She saw him dance once while delivering handouts to his club and had been enamored with him since. It started with her kinda stalking him during school but as she inserted her into situations where she could be around him more she saw the entirety of his personality. He was sweet,loyal,hardworking and literally any other positive adjective you could think of.

Y/N squealed into her pillow again. She hoped she didn't come across as nervous as she was over text. Hoseok made her heart so weak she felt like she needed a transplant.
The two met on Tuesday at 6:00 pm after school. Y/N was in a corner reading over her math notes and checking the textbook for any inaccurate information when a hand was placed on her head. She looked up and saw the sunny face of Hoseok smiling at her. His face brought and wide but awkward smile to her face.
"Hi Y/N you weren't for long were you?" Hoseok said with a hint of worry.
The fact that his hand was still ruffling her hair had her struggling to articulate words.
"No-no ahem,I've been here for like thirty minutes!" Y/N lied. In actuality she had been there since the last bell rang because she was so nervous and was worried that if she came late he would be upset with her.
"Oh ok we should get started,my curfews at 11:30." Hoseok laughed. Y/N let a small giggle. She failed to notice the way Hoseok's eyes lingered on her.
Their first two sessions went smoothly and they were approaching their next one. Y/N,while still awkward,wasn't nearly as awkward as she thought she would be. Hoseok was such an easy person to get along with that her crush only grew.
Hoseok groaned. He had no idea how to approach his crush/math tutor. He liked her since the day she first saw him dance and immediately started fawning over him and complimenting him on his skill. He doesn't think he ever got redder. She was just so excited and nice and enthusiastic and she just made Hoseok's heart race like he just ran miles. Every Time he saw her name pop up on his insta saying she liked it made butterflies flutter in his stomach. And her laugh. Not the awkward one, the normal one that slips out when he says something dumb during their sessions. He swears if he could engrave that sound in his head forever he would. She just made his heart beat so fast and took his breath away. The time she said his smile looks like a heart and smiled at him softly had him on cloud nine for the rest of the night. He liked her so much but what if she didn't like him? He didn't want to ruin their friendship or make her uncomfortable.
"Hoseok do-do you want to hang out? It's ok to say no!" Y/N said awkwardly silently wishing he would say yes.
"Uh sure but what brought this on?"
"Oh well I wanted to kinda give you a break after all this studying I was hoping we could hang out after your test?" Y/N said gallons of sweat rolling off her forehead. Then Hoseok flashed his sweet signature smile and nodded his head. Y/N's heart burst and she wanted to cover his face in kisses but she held back.
Two weeks later Y/N was pacing in front of the door to Hoseok's math class. If the sunshine failed she would never forgive herself. Soon the bell rang and students spilled out holding test papers. Soon Hoseok was standing in front of her not meeting her eyes. Y/N gulped and Hoseok looked up.
"Y/N I got an...A+!" Hoseok exclaimed.
"Really!?" Y/N said smiling. When Hoseok nodded she threw her arms around his waist and hugged him so hard he lost his breath for a second. Hoseok returned her hug before they realized they both had hugged their crush and pulled apart from each other quickly. Y/N mumbled something under her breath.
"What?" Hoseok said not hearing her.
"Meet me at Cafe Orange at 4:00 pm on Saturday!" Y/N exclaimed hurriedly.
Hoseok blinked then smiled. He ruffled Y/N's hair and said ok. He speed walked out of there so he could scream in private.
When Saturday came Y/N dressed simply so she wouldn't be overdressed or undressed. She headed out at 3:30 so she wouldn't be late and her face lit up when she saw Hoseok walk through the door at exactly four pm.
"Hoseok! Here!" Y/N said so that he could find her.
Y/N gulped when she saw him up close. He was wearing just a simple tracksuit but he looked so good that it made her double take.
"How are you always here before me?"
Y/N shrugged "I'm punctual."
The two sat at a booth near a sunny window and ordered their food. Y/N stole glances at Hoseok while sipping her matcha tea and everytime he caught her he smiled and her face heated up. The two talked about random things. Hoseok's routine for his upcoming competition,what shade of orange is too bright for a bedroom,stories of them being clumsy. The teens giggled and laughed until the sun had begun to set in the sky. Y/N got up to dispose of their trash and when she came back to the booth she noticed Hoseok fidgeting with his hands. She sat down and Hoseok cleared his throat and began speaking.
"Err Y/N? I have something to tell you." Hoseok said nervously.
Y/N turned her head towards him and tilted it.
"Ah well you see I don't really need tutoring I just wanted to be around you." Hoseok admitted his face was aflame. At his words Y/N's face fired up. Did he?
"I'm sorry for tricking you but I just like you so much I've liked you since the day I first saw you but I was afraid you didn't like me back and-" Y/N cut him off with a quick peck on his lips. Shehonestly don't know how it's possible for a human to get that red but Hoseok currently looks like a tomato with black hair.
"Ofc I like you back,you idiot sunshine." Y/N smiled at him and Hoseok's heart beat out his chest. He pressed a kiss to Y/N's temple and linked arms with her. The two of you smile all the way back to your house.
Before you can walk into your house Hoseok grabs your arm. A pink dusting of blush paints his face as he stumbles over his words.
"Ah does this mean we're a 'thing' now?" He says nervously,the blush spreading and getting redder. Y/N smiles and gathers all the courage she has to do what she does next. She kisses Hoseok. At first Hoseok freezes but he begins melting into the kiss. Your skin feels like it's on fire and you start getting light headed from lack of air so you pull away. You look at Hoseok's cute dazed expression and hug him tightly.
"I love you,Sunshine."
"I love you too Y/N."
