As you walk to the door Ward opens it and gives you a tour.
"I know you like to hang out with pouges but I'm sure you're going to have fun with Sarah."
Ward says.
"I'll try.."You reply under your breath.
"Sarah Y/n is here!"Ward yells.
"Hey y/n.."Sarah says in an unsure voice.
*Rafe comes downstairs*
Great,Now Rafe.
"What is she doing here?"Rafe groans.
"She's spending a couple weeks here while her parents are out of town."
"Be nice,I don't like that attitude."Ward reply's to Rafe.
"A couple weeks?Why can't she stay with her pouge boyfriend?Or stay by he-"
You interrupt Rafe.
"We're not dating anymore."
"Kids that's enough!Stop arguing,it's not going to make this anymore fun."
"And her mom wanted her to come here since she doesn't want her to hangout with those pouges anymore,and we will welcome and accept her here."
"Rafe show her, her room."Rafe says.
"Right this way"He pauses.
"Pouge."
*You follow him*
"Why does it matter."
You stop.
"Why does what matter?"Rafe replies.
"Why does it matter if your a kook or a pouge."
You say confused.
"Because pouges are.."
Rafe couldn't finish he sentence.
"That's what I thought."You reply.
"At least your half kook."Rafe says smiling.
You start walking again to where your room is.
"Here it is,princess."Rafe says like nothing ever happened.
You got butterflies when he called you princess.
You can tell he noticed that you liked it but he didn't say anything.
"Alright thanks."You say as you set your bags down.
"Why do you hate Sarah?"Rafe asks.
"Well I mean I don't HATE her,but we used to be best friends and out of nowhere she just drops me and acts like we never even knew each other."You say as you started to get angry.
"Classic Sarah,You don't have to hang out with her you know,she'll probably be to busy cheating on her different boyfriends."He says as he lets out a smile.
You giggle.
"If you ever get bored,I can show you some kook activities you never do."He says being genuine.
You roll your eyes jokingly.
"Thanks."You tell him.
As he walks away you can tell he didn't want to leave,but he did anyway.
Is he actually being nice?Did I only listen to my friends?You think to yourself.
As you think about that you also think to yourself how you feel bad you kinda just ignored Sarah.
*You walk downstairs.*
You see Sarah cutting up fruit.
"Want some?"She asks.
"Sure why not."You answer.
*You sit down*
She hands you a bowl of fruit.
"Thank you."You say.
"Of course!"Sarah says in an actual nice way.
"Hey Sarah?"You say.
"What's up?"She says confused.
"Why did you do it?"
"Do what?"
"Why did you stop talking to me out of nowhere.We we're best friends,and then the next day you invite EVERYONE to your amazing party.Everyone except me?We we're so close."You ask but regret right after because your scared of the answer.
"Well...When people get close to me I just feel like I'm going to mess everything up and that I can't do anything because I'll end up messing things up.I just kinda feel trapped."Sarah says.
"oh."You say as you put your bowl in the dishwasher and leave.
Is it really true?Or is she just lying to me like she does to everyone?
You walk into the backyard and see Rafe cleaning up the lawn.
"You need help?"You ask.
"Nah I'm fine."He immediately reply's.
You look around and see a Badminton Racket and birdie.You pick it up and start to play.
Rafe comes over and grabs the other racket.
"Come to the tennis court,We can play using that net just so we have an idea of weather or not it went over."Rafe Says walking over to the tennis court.
You follow him.
"You serve!"He yells over to you.
"Already was but alright."You yell back.
You serve it perfectly and he misses it.
"You suck!"You yell over to him.
"Yeah yeah,whatever."He serves it back and does it pretty good.
This isn't how a real badminton game works but you let it slide.
As you look at the time on your phone you realize you've been playing for two hours so you guys decide to go back inside.
