YOU PACED AROUND THE bakugou's living room like a mad woman as you eyed the clock on the wall, counting down the minutes until katsuki came home.
you were nervous to say the least, i mean you haven't seen him for about two or three weeks or so, and during that few weeks, he had managed to date you and get with another girl all at once.
he also managed to pretend that nothing was wrong and thought you knew nothing, when in reality you know everything.
or at least you thought so.
you were knocked out of your thoughts when the front door opened, immediately you turned your attention to it and you were met with you red eyed boyfriend, who, to say the least, looked extremely shocked to see you in his house.
well, it was now or never
"katsuki" you said, finally stopping your pacing as you sat down on the couch that stood in the middle of the well decorated room
"what are you doing here? how'd you even get in?" he asked, clearly in some type of shock as he dropped his suitcase by the door, where he still stood
"before i answer your questions, we need to talk katsuki"
and as you said those words, katsuki knew then and there, somehow, someway, he fucked up.

"so what exactly are we talking about?" katsuki asked, pacing around his bedroom as you acted unnaturally stoic
your calmness was scaring him, to say the least, after all he hadn't seen you this calm for a while, it was worrisome to him because even though he had seen you calm he knew why, but now, he had no damn idea.
and by the looks of it, it didn't seem as though you were so keen on sharing on why you were uncharacteristically calm.
he watched your movements nervously, a million thoughts rushing through his head as he watched you pull out your phone and scroll through it, seemingly looking for something.
you sighed as you began reading a very familiar article; "dynamite and illus-o-camie, a new hero power couple" you started glancing up at the blonde boy who now looked like he had just been struck by lightning. twice.
"it has come to our attention that a new hero couple has arisen in the lovely japan, the couple was spotted a few days ago in kyoto sharing a loving moment after a taking down a villain, then again spotted in katsuki bakugou's home town, musutafu, sharing yet another loving moment on what seems to be a date- what the actual fuck katsuki" you finished, looking at the blonde boy who looked like a deer caught in headlights
"i- baby look, there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for all of this" he started, moving closer toward you as you took a step back
"for what? your cheating? your second girlfriend? your lying?" you asked, your voice hitching as your it raised with each question you asked
you broke down in tears once you felt katsuki's arms wrapping around your waist, engulfing you in a hug. he pulled you closer toward him, sitting down on his cold bedroom floor with you in between his legs as you wrapped your arms around his torso (does that even make sense?), letting out all your tears of confusion, frustration and sadness once you were in what you once called your safe place.
"oh my sweet girl"

you looked at your boyfriend as if he were completely ridiculous, he on the other hand smiled at you sheepishly as you took in all the information he had just fed you
"then why didn't you just call and tell me that you stupid dumb blonde bitch?!" you practically screamed at him once the information he just gave you processed completely
" because it would have ruined the damn mission, god woman i said this already" he yelled in reply, making you sigh and go off into yet another little rant
" i cant believe you, i seriously cannot, sometimes you're so smart that it makes you stupid, how in the hell would you telling me jeopardise your stupid ass mission when im all the way in musutafu and youre in kyoto" you asked him, and in response, katsuki shrugged and gave you yet another sheepish grin
you see, after a bit of persuading, katsuki had told you that the reason he saw you kissing the camie girl was because at the time he was on an undercover mission, with her, and they posed as a couple for the duration of said mission, hence the kiss and all the articles
you sighed at him one more time, and in response he pulled you closer into his chest and kissed the top of your head, "oh my sweet girl, i love you so much"

ok so the timeline might be a bit confusing because i don't make the time skips really clear and stuff so i'll explain it; basically they had gotten together right, then there was a two week timeskip and then we met the parents in chapter 13. chapter 14 did not indicate a timeskip but there was one, just a week though, meaning that they had been together for 3 weeks now.
from chapters 15 to 16 there had been a 3 week timeskip, which means now they had been together a month and a half, because as i said, in chapter 14 they had been together 3 weeks, then you add the one week of chapter 15, that's a month. then there's the 2 weeks in chapter 16 meaning a month and a half, and now in this chapter, chapter 17 there's been a 2 to 3 week timeskip meaning they had been together 2 months and a week or so.
i hope that cleared things up, if not, i'll draw a flow chart or something.
