Seong : 7 months old

_________________________

Surprisingly, Taehyung didn't really care when he got a squirt of water to the face. It was hard to be upset about it, of course, when the squirter was so cute. And Seong was just about the cutest culprit there could possibly be. The little baby beamed from behind her rubber mudkip bath toy, the same one that she had just used to shoot water at Taehyung's face

"Are you making mudkip use water gun?" Taehyung asked playfully

Seong let out a shrieking laugh before shoving the toy's fin into her outh, smiling around it

"You sure are silly!" He teased, reaching over to turn the sink's faucet off. When the water stopped running, Seong squeaked, reaching for the spout with one of her small hands

"There's enough water in the sink for bath time, so Daddy turned it off!" He explained to the confused baby. She turned to give him a wide eyed stare, which only caused him to chuckle again "Don't worry, sprinkle. Daddy will turn it on again in a little while!"

He cupped his hand and scooped some water out of the sink, carefully spilling it on Seong's head to wet her dark brown hair. The baby cooed contently, removing the toy mudkip from her mouth as her father continued to soak her hair

There were still certain things Taehyung wasn't totally confident with when it came to taking care of a baby (namely the diaper changing), but he had discovered that giving Seong baths was one of his favorite things to do

His other four children had been more wary of baths as babies, which made it harder to wash them. Crying, fussing, and tantrums had been frequent. But for Seong? Not so much. She was the first baby of Jennie and Taehyung that loved bath time since she was just a newborn and as she grew, that little fact had yet to change

As Taehyung reached for the body wash, Seong reached over to the side of the sink and knocked the rest of her bath toys into the sink. She stared at her father the entire time she did this, and as he took notice of the rubber figures floating in the water, she kept her eyes locked on him

"That's a lot of toys for such a small sink" Taehyung chuckled "Why don't we take some out and make more room?"

When he plucked one of the toys, a squirtle, out of the water, however, Seong started to whimper. Taehyung raised an eyebrow, glancing down at the toy in his hand

"What, you really want all of your toys in there with you?" He murmured

"Ki" Seong babbled, pointing at the squirtle

"Aw, you're trying to say squirtle, aren't ya?" He laughed lovingly "Well, I guess it's not such a big deal if you have all of your toys in there. Here's your squirtle back!"

He held the rubber toy out towards his baby daughter, who was quick to grab it back from him. Taehyung just smiled as Seong continued to stare at him, now holding the toy squirtle close to her body

"Hey, no reason to be so grouchy" Taehyung teased

He picked up another one of Seong's bath toys, a duck, and squeezed it beneath the water before pointing the toy at Seong and giving her a little squirt of water, just like she had done before with the mudkip. Seong shrieked happily, dropping the squirtle and holding her hands up by her face

"There's a smile!"

Seong giggled again and reached for the duck in her father's hands

"Here you go, baby" Taehyung said, handing his daughter the toy "Now, I have to finish washing you up, okay? You don't want to stay in there forever"

The little girl just kept playing with her duck toy as Taehyung began lathering her in body wash. Once she realized she was now covered in bubbles, Seong started laughing again, grabbing for the white suds

"You love those bubbles, don't you?" He laughed

Seong raised a hand full of bubbles towards her face, opening her mouth to try and eat the froth

"No, don't do that!" Taehyung gently chastised, lowering Seong's hand "Those bubbles aren't for eating, baby"

Seong blinked and stared at her father. Taehyung smiled and gently blew on the bubbles in Seong's hand, sending them floating towards the baby. She giggled delightedly as they sailed towards her, leaning forward to try and get them to land on her face

"You're crazy" He murmured laughingly "Your mommy would say that you get that from me. But I think it's a good thing! Makes life more interesting"

With the bubbles now settled, Seong turned away from her father and pointed the toy duck at the mirror, squeezing it and spraying the formerly clean glass with water. Taehyung's brow flattened, and when Seong looked over her shoulder with a satisfied smile and saw that, she began to laugh wildly showing her toothless gummies

"Speaking of Mommy, I don't think she's gonna be too happy about that" Taehyung sighed, nodding his head towards the water that was now dripping down the mirror "Why do you have to make trouble, huh?"

Seong just kept laughing, pointing the duck at her father and trying to squirt him with more water. Unfortunately, the toy was now empty, and nothing came from it. The little girl just kept trying, however, unaware of the dilemma at hand

"You're all out of ammo there" He teased, gently poking his daughter's nose "You can't squirt me now"

Seong stared at her father for a moment before dropping both of her hands into the water and throwing them out towards Taehyung, giving him a pretty good splash. The singer blinked hard before shaking his head, water dripping off of his face and the tips of his hair. When he managed to clear out his eyes, he took a quick glance down, realizing the top of his t-shirt was totally drenched

"Man..." He sighed

The little girl started giggling again, shoving duck's head into her wide open mouth. Taehyung just smiled and glanced down at the counter, his eyes widening slightly as he watched the splashed water slowly drip down onto the floor into a shallow puddle

"Mommy's not gonna be too happy about that, either"

Jennie raised an eyebrow as she glanced at the digital clock on her nightstand. Taehyung had taken Seong for her bath quite a while ago...it normally didn't take this long. She knew that Taehyung had a habit of getting off track with playing when it came to bathing Seong, but this was taking an unusually long time

Just a minute later, however, the bathroom door finally opened. He emerged with Seong in his arms, the baby wrapped up in a pink hooded towel

"That took you a while" Jennie stated plainly, standing up to meet her husband

"Yeah, Seong was in a playful mood today" He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck

"Isn't she always during bath time?" Jennie asked

"She is" Taehyung replied "But today she was really playful. I could barely get her to hold still for even a minute!"

Seong looked over at her mother, blinking her cat eyes. Jennie smiled at the baby, but the little girl didn't return the action. Instead, the little girl didn't return the action. Instead, she let out a small yawn, lolling her head to the side until it hit her father's shoulder

"Looks like all that playfulness wore her out" Jennie noted, nodding towards the infant. Taehyung looked down at her and smiled as her eyes began to flutter

"Guess you're right" He laughed softly

"Here, I'll put her down for a nap" She offered, gently taking the baby from him "You deserve a break now"

"Thanks, Jen!" Taehyung chirped "I think I'll go into the backyard and do some planting"

Jennie smiled and nodded her head "Okay. I'll meet you out there once I get Seong down"

Taehyung gave both Jennie and Seong a quick kiss before heading out the bedroom door. With a content sigh, Jennie stepped into the bathroom, wanting to make sure Taehyung had remembered to turn the faucet off. As she got to the sink, however, she stepped in a decent amount of water, causing her to take a big step back

"What the..."

She glanced up at the counter, realizing it was drenched as well. Water dripped from the mirror, while Seong's bath toys were scattered both in and around the sink

"Well, he wasn't kidding about the playfulness" Jennie sighed "I think I'm going to do some cleaning..."
