She did nothing

Sakura's pov

I walk to my next class which was Chemistry
I had this class with Shikamaru,Kiba and choji

Shikamaru didn't care about the rumours,he was too lazy to even care

Kiba,one of my ex-friends,he was disappointed in me for something l hadn't done
'was this the friendship we built,one where a single lie would tear it apart'
He never looked me in the eye
And whenever he did l saw dissapointment,no hatred just dissapointment

Choji was one of my accquintances
I knew he had nothing against me,it was just that he wouldn't risk talking to me so he would just keep to himself and his snacks
I sit next to Shikamaru who doesn't even turn his head to look at me
"Good afternoon Shikamaru"l say with a small smile
"Afternoon"he says lazily not even sparing me a glance

That was just Shikamaru being Shikamaru,watching the clouds through the window
But as always all happiness comes to an end
Karin walks"models" over to our desk
"Kiba-kun don't tell me you are hanging around with that"she says pointing at me,with a nasty look on her face
Kiba just stares at her and sighs,he stands up from his seat and sits next to choji
"Karin get a life"l say with an annoyed look on my face,Karin's smile turns into a wide grin
"Oh wait and watch Sakura,just you wait and watch,"Karin cackles as she walks away to her own desk,l couldn't help but wander, is he crazy or is he planning something,l shrug off the threat.

Soon the lesson starts,l start to think about my home the home l used to have long ago
The home l don't have anymore,but the memories l still hold within me

I wake up early morning
I wanted to make my mom some breakfast so she can feel better
I'm sure she will love it,l'm her precious daughter after all
I tiptoe down the stairs and run into the kitchen
I open the fridge and take some bread and ingredients for a sandwich out
I gently and professionally make a sandwich
The first thing l would hope to not happen was for my mom to choke on it,which would be a 90% of happening,what are the odds though

I hear slow steps coming from the stairs
My mother appears looking drowsy and with red eyes
I walk to her so as to help her walk
"Morning mama,l made you some breakfast"
She shoves me to the side and walks over to the table
"Mama are you going to eat"l say sadly
"Who the heck are you calling mama"she says as she scowls at me
"Who else mama, obviously you"
"Brat,listen up,your father left because of you all this is because of you l would have had a perfect marriage if it wasn't for you"she says with a look of anger in her eyes
I start to tear up
I hug her tight
"Mama p..p..lease,l know you love me,right?"l say with a stutter
She shoves me away and l hit my head on the corner of the table,blood cascading down my forehead
"If l can't love myself,how am l supposed to love you"she smiles,she looks sick,sick in the head
She throws my hard work on the floor and drags me to my room and locks me in it
I lean against the door,tears threatening to fall
'Maybe it's just a phase, she'll get though it soon'

*THE BELL FOR LUNCH RINGS*

I walk to my locker hoping some red headed girl with beans for brains
And a blonde haired girl with an ego as high as a mountain
Would not just appear right in front of me
Nothing ever goes my way
"what do you want Karin"l say irritated
"I just wanna say watch your back tomorrow okay,see ya don't wanna be ya"she spits as she models her way to the cafeteria
Somebody just kill me already
I walk to the cafeteria
I get myself some lunch and sit next to tenten
The one girl who didn't give a hoot about what anyone said about me,she was my close friend and l could only see her at lunch,she was 1 year ahead of me
"Hey Sakura,how are you"she says with excitement in her voice
"I'm fine tenten thanks for asking"l say with a light chuckle
"So there's this guy....."tenten starts as she fills me in on the drama in her life,l can't help but smile when she talks about her family

It's been 10months since dad disappeared and mom has been getting worse and worse
She's acting like a mad woman

I plump myself onto the couch after a long day of cleaning,it was 10pm,and lt was my daily clean up routine time
My mother enters the house
Bottles of sake in her hand,and her coat in the other
Eyes puffy once again,and coughing uncontrollably
I dodge the glass bottle she hurled at me
She was much more violent in her drunk state,and she is always in her drunk state
I had missed the bottle by an inch
"Mama whats wrong"l say with tears stinging my eyes,she often hurled things at me but it wasn't the most pleasant thing to experience, especially for a 10year old
"You,you are the reason everything is going wrong in my life,you are a burden on me"she hisses,she throws her stuff on the floor and she slaps me across the face
I fall to the ground with a tiny thud and fall on to the glass pieces on the floor,they cut through my elbow and thigh

She starts laughing hysterically,once again like a mad woman
I didn't know this woman anymore
She was Like someone l didn't know,like a stranger,l sit up and run to the bathroom,dressing and bandaging my wounds
'l know she'll leave a mess in the living room,l'll clean it later"
I lie on my bed,and once again,l get sucked Into the darkness of my dreamless night

"And then he-"tenten is Interrupted by bell and she sighs
"Okay Sakura,l'll tell you over the phone,bye"tenten stands up and heads for class and Sakura does same,she sar in her class thinking about the day that was still awaitinh her

I open the door to our house,darkness hugging every corner of it,l reach for the lightswitch and l see my mother holding a knife
"Mama what are you doing"
"I'm not your mother nor will l ever be"
My eyes widen in horror,the scene of my mother holding a sharp knife to her neck
"Please don't,why"l yell,hot tears streaming down my cheeks like a waterfall
"Because l have no purpose here,nothing is important here anyways what is there to live for"she says with a wide maniacal grin
"Nothing important,nothing important?,nothing important?!am l not important?"l yell with tears refusing to dry on my cheeks,as they are washed over and over by new ones
"You were never important to me"and with those words she slits her throat,and falls down on the floor
*SCREAMS*
l scream l stand there in horror,legs refusing to move eyes remaining on the now lifeless body
What did l do to deserve this
It only gets worse
I fall to my knees and sob my heart out
I bottled up my feelings and wiped my tears,l run to konoha police force

"Hey kid,what's wrong"Akiro Uchiha asks me
"My mom..she..knife.."l say with tears threatening to fall...

It's the last class and only 12minutes for it to end,and in this 12minutes l have to listen k a r i n. present the most pathetic report about fashion

*BELL RINGS*

I walk out of the classroom and head out of the gate making extra sure l avoid Ino and her minions

Halfway through my journey to the house,l get lost in thought
I then bump into something hard and broad,l fall on my bum

"HEY"I practically yell
"I'm...s-"his voice low as he tries to say sorry but l hope on my feet and brush the dust off my clothes
"The audacity you have,you aren't even apologizing hmmph"she puffs
"I tried to-"his voice maintaining the same pitch as before,he is cut off once again by her pressing her finger on his chest and looking him straight in the eyes
"Can't you even be polite,what's wrong with you men huh"she says with red cheeks full of anger
The man waves his hands slowly in surrender
"I'm sorry"he says in a cold monotone voice which sends shivers down her spine
And she takes in the appearance of the man more clearly
