Willow sat with Elena and Bonnie in a booth at the Mystic Grill. "So, how are you and Jeremy doing?" Elena asked, taking a sip of her drink. Bonnie tensed as she sat and waited for Willow's answer.

"Great." Willow grinned, looking over at Jeremy as he worked. Jeremy caught her eye and gave her a wide grin, slowly making his way towards them. "Hey!" Willow smiled as Jeremy leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips.

"How are you?" he asked her. She moved over and Jeremy sat down next to her, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. She leaned her head on his should and sighed, a smile gracing her lips.

"Better now that you're here." Willow grinned up at him. "I forgot that you worked here." In fact, she hadn't known that he worked here. When did he start working at the Grill?

"I'm not here for long, still have work to do." he kissed the top of her head and stood up quickly. "See you after work?"

"I'll be here." she smiled and watched him walk away. He grinned at her over his shoulder and started wiping down tables.

"I'll be back." Bonnie stood up and walked away from the table. Elena caught Willow's attention again by waving her hand in front of Willow's face.

"Are you okay?" Elena asked with worried eyes.

"I'm perfectly fine." Willow laughed. "Why do people keep asking me that?"

"Ladies." a smooth voice spoke from behind Willow. She turned to spot a familiar face.

"Damon!" Willow greeted with an ecstatic smile. He smirked at her and took Bonnie's seat, slipping his arm around her shoulders and grabbing her chocolate milkshake. He took a sip as she protested, smacking his arm lightly. "That was mine, you jackass!" she laughed.

Elena tensed as she looked at Damon. Damon caught her eyes and winked before turning back to Willow. "How was your day, beautiful?"

"Absolutely wonderful!" she exclaimed, grabbing her drink from him and sucking on the straw. "Jeremy and I are going on a picnic after he gets off of work."

"Oh really?" Damon asked, confused. She seemed so happy, and Damon felt a tug at his heart knowing that he was the one who did this for her.

"It's for our anniversary dinner!" she grinned, looking down at her fingers. "It's kind of a tradition for us."

Elena watched Damon's reactions closely. He could feel her eyes drilling into the side of his head and so he kept his expressions schooled. On the inside, he felt mild annoyance and irritation. "You two are together?"

"For three years." she nodded, smiling to herself as she turned her head to look at Jeremy. She frowned when she saw Bonnie and Jeremy in a heated whispering conversation. Bonnie looked over at their table and her eyes were cold. Jeremy followed her gaze and made eye contact with Willow, before turning back to Bonnie and saying something.

Bonnie looked pissed as she walked out of the Grill. Jeremy walked into the back of the bar. Frowning, Willow turned towards Elena, who was staring daggers at Damon, and whispered to her, "Why is Bonnie upset?"

Damon smirked as Elena paled and turned to her friend. "Well, uh, you see..." Elena began, trailing off as if she were trying to think of an excuse.

"Bonnie has a thing for Jeremy." Damon announced, turning towards Willow once again. Willow's eyes grew wide as she looked out the window. "And Jeremy might have feelings for her too."

Willow felt a twisting feeling in her gut as she looked down at the table, tears coming to her eyes. "You're lying." she tried to convince herself. "Jeremy and I are happy together. He wouldn't do anything to hurt me."
