➾ dragon's and young love

HERMIONE HAD BEEN SPENDING MORE OF her time in the library, claiming that she needed to keep up on her studies because she was lacking since the beginning of the school year. Ron's been MIA, he's been hanging out more with Seamus since he stopped talking to Harry— which both of the girls knew that it wasn't a good idea. Rosalyn's been sending letters to Sirius Black the moment Alastor Moody came into the school, she had her suspicions about him.

"It's weird, don't you think? Not seeing Ron and Harry talking to each other." Rosalyn heard someone say while she walked down the corridor, everyone's been hating on Harry and to show their support, they would wear pins with Harry's face and with the words, "potter sinks".

"This would look absolutely stunning on you." Goyle spoke while he walked up to her and she immediately spotted the matching pins on his friend's, and a extra in his hand, Rosalyn scowled, smacking the pin out from his hand. "Piss off." She spat and walked away.

"That wasn't very nice for a Gryffindor!"

Rosalyn scoffed. Cedric sat up the moment he caught a glimpse of dark haired girl walking past him. "Looks like we didn't need an owl to wake Cedric up." A friend tease him with a laugh, Cedric shoved him back joking while they worked together to push the seeker up to his feet. "Go, go, go!"

Cedric stood up and looked back at his friends, embarrassedly shaking his head before making his way to Rosalyn. "Hey, rose— wait! Rosalyn." The witch spun around and caught her breath, she's might've been shamelessly trying to avoid Cedric since the announcement of the games.

"Oh, hi, Cedric." Rosalyn spoke softly, meeting his pearly green eyes peering down at her. Cedric fiddled with the strap of his school bag for a moment when he suddenly reached over to grab her arm before pulling them away from his friends.

She noticed how he fiddled around with the strap of his bag hanging off his shoulder, watching as his eyes refused to meet her own. "I— uh.. I wanted to— to ask you... uh— sorry," Cedric chuckled nervously, Rosalyn smiled gently. "Im sorry, I'm not usually this nervous."

Harry appeared at the end of the corridor, ignoring every person shoving their pins in his face, he looked straight at the sight of Rosalyn and Cedric speaking oh-so closely. He didn't like the pity feeling in his stomach but nothing-less he made his way towards them.

"Cedric." Rosalyn darted away her attention from the tall Hufflepuff to the familiar voice that stood between them, like a visible barrier. Harry furrowed glaring between how close the pair stood and completely forgotten what he was going to say.

Cedric cleared his throat bringing Harry back into the real world. Harry eyes widened for a moment and his voice sounded strained when he spoke. "Uh... c-Cedric, may I speak with you. Privately."
