Unknown feelings (Sabine x Shin)

Shin had been ordered to fetch the prisoner which she had done with no complaints. Just a nod of her head as she made her way to the cell.

Not a word had been shared between them, Shin had simply given her a look, those intense blue eyes staring at her as they always did, expecting her to silently follow.

Yet when she glanced back at her as Baylan and Elsbeth spoke amongst themselves her expression hadn't been the same.

There'd been open curiosity there.

Now that they weren't trying to kill one another.

Sabine stared right back at her and there was a hardness beneath her own eyes but it was clear who was in charge here and who wasn't.

After what felt like an eternity Shin turned away leaving Sabine to wonder what that had been about.

And why she had liked the lack of dislike in her eyes.
