It's an art you see?
Faking a laugh that is.
Faking a smile is all too easy.
It seems like child's play when compared to faking a laugh.
No I don't mean a sarcastic Haha.
Or an over the top Hahahahaha.
Or a flirty Hehe.
Or even an emotionless Lol.
I mean a genuine mega watt worthy laugh.
But why would anyone fake a laugh if not required?
You've got to do it sometimes.
When a joke is made at your expense.
When you're called a blonde or dumb.
Even though you might know alot of smart blondes.
When you simply don't feel like crying any more.
When you want to ignore a question.
When you want to laugh and punch someone at the same time.
I could go on forever.
But it's an art.
Only the best of the best can master it.
To hide your emotions that well?
Impossible.
People who aren't good at it get caught easily.
They are then subjected to statements as well as questions such as -
Are you okay?
Wasn't that joke funny?
You aren't even laughing for real! Did u seriously ignore my question and laugh?
Damn that fake laugh.
But the people who don't get caught are spared of this vicious cycle.
They have mastered the art.
But nobody knows.
And that my friend is an art in itself.
