The 1st of December.

Culver notices Robin getting ready and he walks over.
C- Going out?
R- Hm? Yeah, I'm going to see a friend.
C- A friend, you say? From school?

Robin nods and Culver leans on the doorway.
C- What are you gonna do?
R- Just going to go iceskating and then get some hot chocolate after.
C- Alright, be safe and have fun.
R- Thanks. I'll be back in a couple of hours.

The two wave at eachother and they split ways.

After a couple minutes of walking, Robin arrives early.

T- Robin?
Robin turns around to see Tanner.
T- You're early.

Robin shrugs.
R- It's rude to keep people waiting.
T- True. Are you ready to go in?

Tanner takes his hand out so Robin to take it.
Robin looks down at it and Tanner puts it away.

T- Too soon?
Before Robin could respond, Tanner starts walking in.
T- Doesn't matter, come on. Let's go inside.

Robin follows Tanner in.

Tanner goes up to the counter, pays and turns to Robin.
T- Whats your shoe size?
R- I'm a 9.

Tanner turns back to the clerk.
T- A size 11 and a 9, please.

Tanner hands Robin their iceskates.
T- Here you go.

They go over to the bench together and they put on their skates.

T- I'll stay by you incase you fall.
Tanner winks.
R- Um. Thank you?

They put on their skates and they step onto the ice.
T- I know It's intimidating when you're a first timer, but just remember french fry when you want to speed up and pizza when you want to slow down.

Robin finally realizes that Tanner is assuming they've never iceskated before.
R- Oh my, that's sounds soo difficult. Do you mind going a round and showing me?

Robin baits Tanner and Tanner talks it.
T- Of course, watch and learn.

Tanner zips off, admittedly being quite fast and good.
T- Impressive right?

Robin wants to laugh but they keep acting.
R- Yes. I'm incredibly impressed.

Tanner smiles and wraps his hand around Robins waist, in order to guide them.
T- Okay now your turn.

Robin begins to skate, immediately picking up speed.
R- Like this?
T- Yeaa you're a natural.

Tanner still hasn't caught on.
R- Mind if I?

Robin lightly pushes Tanner off of him.

T- You want to skate by yourself already?

Robin nods.
T- Okay.. But I'll be right behind you to make sure you don't fall.
R- I won't.

Robin then zips away, going even faster than Tanner, even doing tricks.
Robin skates back and Tanner is visibly embarrassed now.
R- Was that good?

Robin says, being incredibly sickly sweet.
T- You've done this before, huh?
R- What? Noooo.

Tanner gives Robin a look.
R- Alright fine you caught me, I've been skating since I was young.
T- And you let me embarrass myself?
R- I'm sorry I had to.

Robin laughs a bit.

R- You aren't mad though, right?

Robin nudged Tanners shoulder.
T- You know I can't stay mad at you... But please never do it again. I can't handle another hit to my ego.

R- I promise I won't. Now come on.
Robin takes Tanners hands and they start to skate around together.

After an hour of skating, they step off of the ice. Tanner puts his hand out to help Robin leave.
R- You don't have to do that y'know?
T- I know, but I want to. Now c'mon let's take these off and go to the café next door.

Robin nods and takes off their skates, they then walk over to the cafe next door for hot chocolate.

T- Well that was fun
Tanner sat down after ordering.
R- It was, thank you for inviting me.
T- Oh please, the pleasure is all mine.

R- But you didn't have to pay for me.
T- What kind of a guy would I be if I made you pay?
R- Are you trying to hint at me being broke?

Robin teased Tanner.
T- What? Of course not.
R- Hm. Well I'm paying the next time we meet up, okay?
T- If you say so.

The waitress came over and handed the pair their drinks.
T- Soo, how's the cat?
R- Oh her name is Paint and she's a very good cat.
T- Does that mean you're a cat purrrson?

Robin rolled their eyes and laughed.
R- You can say that. What about you?
T- Same here. I love cats.
R- Hm? Have you had any before?
T- Sadly no. My brothers allergic.

R- Sounds like a skill issue honestly.

Tanner laughs.
T- Yeah. I know right?

They continued to talk up a storm. To the point they lost track of time and the café told them to leave.

R- I had fun today.
T- I'm glad. Do you want me to talk you back home?
R- Nah, I'm good. See you around Tanner.
T- See ya.

They hugged and went their seperate ways.
