"This is so typical. I have absolutely nothing to wear." Taylor said to herself as she stared into her closet that was packed with clothes. "I don't even know what to wear. Do I go for casual or dressy? What if it rains? There goes my hair I spent the last hour on. Oh god. If it's windy, I can't wear a dress. But it's supposed to be nice today. Maybe I should check the weather again."

Taylor was pulled out of her thoughts by her phone vibrating on the counter.

"So.. I really hope you're not getting cold feet about today, cuz I'm kinda.. sorta.. maybe.. definitely outside your apartment right now."

Taylor's jaw hit the floor upon reading the message.

"At least I think I'm at the right place. There's some CIA/FBI looking guys giving me the stink eye."

Taylor threw her head back laughing after reading the new text. She quickly thumbed out her response.

"Well that depends. You see, I was in the middle of getting ready because I was told by a certain someone they would come get me around 11. So no one should be coming by to see me until then. And it's only 10. Which could be why you're getting the "stink eye". I'll call down and tell them to let you up."

After calling her head of security, Taylor's nerves kicked in and her mind went into overdrive.

"I'm not even close to ready. Why am I so nervous? Why can't I find something to wear? I can't believe they're already here. Crap."

A loud knock on the door brought Taylor out of her panic.

"Great. Now I have to answer the door and I look like a mess."

Taylor flew down the stairs. She stood there at the door, trying to calm her nerves a bit.

"Relax. You got this." She pulled on her sleeves, took a deep breath, and opened the door to reveal emerald green eyes and a smile that gave her butterflies.

"Hi there." Karlie said with a shy smile.

"What happened to "Oh, I'm almost never on time?" I wasn't expecting you to be here so early! I'm not even close to ready." Taylor said with a smile

"Well, I uh. I..I was just.. really excited about today. I couldn't wait to see you. I'm sorry I'm a little early. I just didn't want to keep you waiting. You look really cute by the way. I love the kitten covered onesie look." Karlie replied, eyeing Taylor's outfit.

Taylor blushed. "Well come in. I can't help you were early. I told you I wasn't ready. I just.. I don't know what to wear." She said as she shut the door.

"Honestly, you can wear that. I wasn't kitten when I said you looked cute." Karlie replied as she leaned in to hug Taylor.

"Nicely done Kar. That was really smooth." Taylor said drily, although she was blushing even brighter at the adorableness of the comment.

"That's me. I'm like Michael Jackson."

Taylor gave her a questioning look.

"You been hit by.. you've been struck by.. that smooth criminal." Karlie said as she danced and pointed a finger gun at Taylor and winked.

Taylor had to cover her face with her hands to keep from snorting.

"So um, these are for you." Karlie said as she pulled a bouquet of flowers from behind her back. "I wasn't sure what your favorite was, but I saw these and thought they were pretty and they looked like you, so I got them."

Taylor couldn't contain her smile. "Thank you Karlie. They're beautiful. I'm just going to put these in a vase, and then I'll finish getting ready. Make yourself comfortable"
