Taylor was looking through the pictures on her phone that she had taken at the zoo. She smiled as she went through the roll. She had so much fun just being carefree and joking with Karlie. It was so easy to talk to her about everything.

She glanced over at Karlie driving. She had one hand on the wheel again and the other was resting on the center console. Taylor didn't want to seem overly clingy by grabbing Karlie's hand, but she just liked how it felt. Their hands fit together so perfectly.

As if she was reading her mind, Karlie looked at her with a soft smile. She turned her palm up so Taylor could place her hand in hers. Taylor smiled and laced their fingers together and kept looking down at their hands. Karlie rubbed the back of her hand and it was comforting to Taylor.

They continued the drive in a comfortable silence. It was nice just being together and not needing to fill gaps with conversation.

They finally pulled up to Karlie's next destination.

"A park?" Taylor asked curiously.

"Mmhmm. I thought it might be kind of nice to have a little picnic in the park, maybe take a walk after. There's a river that flows through and there's benches to sit on. I thought we could enjoy the nice weather." Karlie replied as she unbuckled her seatbelt.

"Why? Are you not ok with this? We can go somewhere more private. I just thought it was a nice day, and it would give us a chance to relax and talk a bit." Karlie mumbled nervously.

Taylor smiled at Karlie's nervousness. She had never had a picnic in a park before. It was really cute seeing how much thought Karlie put into the day.

Taylor leaned towards Karlie and squeezed her hand. "It sounds perfect Kar."

Karlie smiled and got out of the car. She ran around to Taylor's side and opened the door for her. She held her hand out and helped Taylor out of the car.

"Thanks." Taylor said with a shy smile.

Karlie went to the trunk to pull out what they needed for the picnic. Taylor couldn't believe how much Karlie had packed for this. She pulled out blankets, a small cooler, a picnic basket, and another bag filled with who knows what.

"Do you need help carrying all that?" Taylor asked, watching Karlie adjust everything in her arms.

Karlie slid the bag over her shoulder, tucked the blankets under her arm so they were resting on the bag, grabbed the cooler, and picked up the basket with her other hand. "Nope. I got it." She smiled her teeth baring smile.

Taylor laughed. "So strong. But how am I supposed to hold your hand now?" Taylor questioned with a pout.

Karlie smirked at Taylor. She stopped. Put the picnic basket on the ground, and readjusted the cooler so she could grab the basket with the same hand.

"Oh my gosh. I was kidding. I mean.. I do want to hold your hand. But you can't carry all that with one arm Karlie! You're going to hurt yourself!" Taylor exclaimed.

Karlie shook her head and grabbed a hold of Taylor's hand. "Come on you. Let's find a good spot to sit."

They found a nice tree to sit under to provide them some shade. It wasn't fully grown in yet, since it was still springtime, so the sun's rays were still getting through the branches to give some warmth.

Karlie laid down the blankets and set the rest of the stuff down.

"What's in that bag?" Taylor questioned.

Karlie smiled and gave Taylor the bag. Inside she found bug spray, sun screen, crayons, coloring books, a small music dock, a frisbee, and a few towels.
