Trying hard but never succeeding,
Such a lonely path to tread,
Every failure feels defeating,
Every lesson learned with dread. With a hopeful heart and eager mind,
I strive and strain, but still I find,
My efforts fall short and I despair,
Am I good enough? Are my dreams rare?I toil and labor, night and day,
But still I fail, and my progress fades,
Away like sand, as the hours slip by,
And my hopes and dreams slowly die.I try and try, with all my might,
But still I stumble, and I can't ignite,
The fire that burns within my soul,
My efforts leave me empty and cold.
