i immediately sat up and woke duncan up
"woz the matter babe?" he said groggily, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes
"what's the matter??" i said, unable to contain my anger "this is the fucking matter"
i shoved the phone into his face and the smile disappeared. he grabbed the phone from my hands and looked deeply into the picture
"so, you gonna explain or what?" i said impatiently
"look princess, this was 3 months ago. we went out with heather and alejandro, got so drunk and it just happend. we havent spoke of it since." he said
i wanted to believe him, i wanted to tell him it was okay and that i forgave him. but i couldnt, this wasnt the first time something like this had happend. hed cheated before, WITH gwen. i ran upstairs sobbing
"court please" he begged
i ran into my room and slammed my door
"baby" he whispered
"go away please" i cried
i heard him sigh but he didnt move nor say anything. we sat there in silence for an hour or so, all that could be heard was the faint sniffing
"my love, can we please talk now?" he asked
that name almost made me give in. everything in me wanted to run out and sob in his arms, tell him how much i loved him, how much i needed him. but i didnt, i stayed silent. he got the hint.
"courtney im going to leave you alone now, ill go home. but please text me later, tell me your okay." he said sadly
i heard his footsteps get fainter and fainter and he went downstairs, got his jacket and put his shoes on and eventually rode away on his motorcycle.
