Believe me, we waited.

Waited for Chloe to come back. Praying that some miracle would happen and she would knock on the front door of her house and we would dramatically run to her like a cliché movie scene.

All we did was wait.

We waited for the police to find her, even get somewhere in the case of our missing friend. Waited for them to do their job. But, even after months, they came up with nothing.

Zero.

Nobody even expected her to go missing- she was the kindest person ever. No enemies- everyone liked her. That I knew of, anyway.

Being her best friend was like getting a glimpse of her life. She knew everything about me, and I knew everything about her.

We'd known each other since we were little. We grew up together. Along with her sister. Also Maddie, Mackenzie, Nia, and even Kendall. All of us spent most of our time together, mostly because of dance.

So, if something ever happened- even the smallest of smallest of things, the rest of us were bound find out.

We told each other everything.

I guess not everything, though.

Anyways. I'm getting sidetracked. So one day, I came home from school to find a letter for the rest of the girls and I.

Dear girls,

I know you're wondering if I'm dead. I can 100% assure you that I'm not, considering that I'm currently writing this. Look- this is going to be really rushed, I don't have a lot of time. But, I want to tell you that there is hope to finding me. Clues. That's all I can say. He'll check the letter after I'm done writing so I can't say too much. They'll be in special places. I know you'll probably think this is fake, and I don't even know why he's allowing me to do this. Just don't tell the police. Please. It'll lower the chances of me surviving. And there isn't much time until they get rid of me. Work fast.
- Chloe

I know what your thinking, and I can assure you we were thinking the exact same thing too.

What the heck.
