Rowena is tending to Chuck.

"Charles, I'll put the kettle on. My mom always said, "there's nothing a nice wee cup of tea can't fix."" Rowena says before leaving the room.

"She's using you." Crowley tells Chuck. "It's what she does. Find someone with power... cozies up... digs the claws in." He takes a bottle out of alcohol from the cabinet.

"Hmm. Yeah, well, I'm not helping anyone right now, obviously." Chuck says. "She's been... nice."

"For now." Crowley says.

"Now's kind of all we got." Chuck says.

"Whatever. I'm not calling you dad." Crowley says.

"Now, Fergus was bright. Walked before his first birthday, but he hated pants. Hated them." Rowena tells Chuck. "He'd run 'round the village, his wee banger just flapping in the breeze." Billy quietly snickers.

"Adam and Eve were the same way." Chuck sighs.

"Kids." The two say.

"I'm so glad the world is ending." Crowley says as Sam walks in. "Samantha!"

"W-what are we doing?" Sam asks.

"Getting a migraine." Miranda sighs.

"Nothing." Rowena says.

"Exactly!" Sam exclaims. "Amara's out there eating the fucking sun and-- and we're doing nothing."

"You have a better idea?" Crowley asks Sam.

"Yes. Anything. That's my better idea because anything is better than this." Sam says.

"Sam. I get it. Even if we could lock Amara away, it wouldn't do any good now. I'm dying. And when I'm gone, a cosmic balance between light and dark -- it's over." Chuck says.

"All right." Sam says. "Then if we can't cage her, we have to kill her."

"Bingo." Crowley says.

Sam called Dean who is on the way back. Sam goes into the kitchen, finding Miranda nibbling at leftover pizza.

"Hey." He softly calls getting her to glance up for a moment.

"Hey." She mumbles, putting the pizza down. Sam walks over, leaning against the counter opposite of her. "Sorry I slapped you."

Sam weakly smiles and grabs onto her hands, rubbing his thumbs back and forth.

"I'm sorry I didn't specify every single, little detail of the plan." Sam tells her. "I should've discussed it with you... warned you. I just knew you'd get me to change my mind."

"And that's such a bad thing?" She quirks an eyebrow.

"I guess not, but-- but you know the situation." Sam says. He lets go of her and walks around the counter. "But however we defeat Amara now does not involve me taking on the Mark. So -- if we both survive -- you and I can still try to grow old together." He promises, cupping her face, rubbing his thumbs back and forth across her cheeks.

"Yeah, we better." Miranda mumbles.

Sam kisses her on the nose.

"Wait, so now you want to kill the Darkness?" Dean asks. "You're cool with this?" Dean asks Chuck. "Cause, you know, last time..."

"Look, Chuck's dying." Sam says and Chuck looks at him. "Uh, no offense, God."
