Looking at the text that was sent 4 hours ago you sigh knowing he must be busy again keeping your phone aside you head towards the bathroom, done with your skincare routine you come out changing into your pyjamas, and you are about to slip into your covers deep in your dreamland until your phone buzzed making you halt on your steps your face lit up with the joy knowing it must be your favourite person calling, sliding the answer key you joined the face call and got busy in face time with your long distance bf.

Minutes later.....

Y/n: babe it's your b'day in some weeks, I'm so excited

Jk: it would have been more exciting if we could have celebrated it together.

Y/n: we will someday

JK: yeah we will (he said lazily and soon dozed off while the video call was still on)

Y/N POV.

I kept admiring him, he looked like a baby while sleeping, I love watching him he looks so peaceful and calm I could tell by the look on his face he really had a rough day he looked so exhausted,

Being an adult isn't easy with all the lack of sleep and working the whole day and when the profession is DOCTOR there's no time for yourself well I know very well cause I'm a doctor too while he's a pediatric surgeon I'm still looking forward to becoming a specialist in gynaecologist field

No matter what or how our lives are there's this thing which I love the most, even though we are this busy the whole day we still manage to steal some time for each other otherwise this long distance won't work this long it's going to be a year we are together and there only communication which keeps our relationship this strong

Sharing little things and always making time for each other is the best we can do so far, being in a long-distance relationship isn't that bad we have that ability to make each other smile from far away something that people living closer can't always do. Yes, we do crave each other we do want to be like other couples holding hands and spending a lot of time together being close to each other wanting to feel each other warmth, and wanting to hug and cuddle for hours this is the only thing that lack here but the willingness to be with each other despite the distance is stronger than the pain of not getting to see each other everyday.

This kind of power, trust,  and loyalty knows no limits, it's not always easy but it is so incredibly worth it and ultimately that's what it boils down to choosing to invest in your relationship because it's worth it to have that person in your life even if you can't be physically together

Long distance is loving someone without meeting them every day is proof that love is not in front of eyes but in the heart.

Being long-distance is the truest of times, our long-distance relationship had its own upsides and downs. Sometimes, we went days and weeks without talking because of our busy schedules.

It's been a while since I've admired him, his lips are parted and he's snoring softly his hair strands coming all the way covering his eyelids his face is round and his borderlines are kind of heart-to-shape his jawline is rounded which makes him more flawless and masculine, his one cheek is pressed above his pillow making his cupid bowed shaped lips look pouty God. I hate this distance just cause of this reason only I want to kiss him so bad
