"Of course." I threw the stick in the fire and followed alongside him. I felt his arm occasionally brush against my tail twitched with each touch. The silence was comforting, but I still couldn't help but feel awkward, reliving the moment of rejection over and over in my head.

"You seem troubled. Is everything alright (__)?" He asked. He looked down at me, forest colored eyes full of concern. A light from the corner of my eye stole my attention, we both managed to walk all the way to the lake that they had passed this morning.
