The wait

I am looking for something
for a type of feeling
the urge is eating me
in my head it's ringing

I have no time
but I don't know what for
am I late or ready early
simply, I don't know

I am waiting
it could come any moment
looking at something else?
no time, it is not worth it

the sun could rise any minute
any minute turned many hours
and what did I do instead of preparing?
I waited until it was too late
