The choice to meet

a reputation of magic
a man able to create worlds
loved by all
and envied by crowds

moving his hands over the paper
words placing themselves for him
a smile like his
nature wouldn't dare fade it

the journey people wonder
it took for his talent
was is hard work and suffer
or was it given to him?

it simply came from one
from one single thought
he picked up a book
in his youth instead the cloth

mother told him to tidy
he decided to do
he decided to pick up the book
he decided to open it too

the words spoke to him
he forgot the time that day
he found love in the pages
so was it given on a tray?

what you might wonder
if he hadn't met the choice
if his hand went for else
would he have stayed unknown?
