scent of flowers
sun on the skin
how would I know
how long it has been
how long since I've
last held your hand
couldn't look into your eyes
for I was a shy lad
how I regret
not kissing you goodbye
even if you would have slapped me
it would've been worth a try
how will you react
how much you will cry
to have learned
that
