Sua was currently studying with Yena and Yuri at the small cafe she loved.
"Okay next, what was Adler's theory?"
Since Yena and Yuri were majoring in psychology, they often tested each other with flashcards they made. Meanwhile, Sua had her nose deep into the lab manual for her anatomy and physiology course.
"ummm- crap I know this"
"You can do it" Yena said with encouraging eyes.
"His theory was regarding birth order right?"
"Yeah!" Yena said excitedly. "Do you remember anything else about him?"
"Oh! He said that personality is developed from an intrinsic need to strive to be superior. You know, to overcompensate from feelings of inferiority" Yuri replied with a wide grin.
Yena had a proud smile painted on her rosy lips as she put the flashcard with the others Yuri got correct. "I told you you'd be just fine, all you needed was a quick brush up on some of the material."
"I know but I just get really bad test anxiety and it's like I forget how to function properly." Yuri said reaching for her coffee and turning to Sua. "How have you been with that Sua? I know your test anxiety can get pretty bad too."
Sua looked up from her manual making eye contact with Yuri smiling. Both girls struggle when attempting to deal with the pressure test taking can have upon people. "Honestly lately it's been getting better."
Yena- who had begun organizing the flash cards again, turned her head to look at Sua. "Oh my gosh really? That's awesome Su!" She gave her a side hug before continuing. "Have you been doing anything different lately?"
"I think when I read the next chapter before we go over it in class- like a mini overview- has been helping me a lot." She said. "I'm beginning to feel more confident in my knowledge of the subject because I already have an idea on what we are talking about"
"That's awesome babe! I'm so proud of you!"
"Me too! I'll definitely start trying that because all these theories from random ass men are taking actual YEARS off my life" Yuri dramatically exclaimed as she leaned back in her chair placing the back of her hand on her forehead.
Sua and Yena giggled at the girls antics before looking back at their study materials.
Yuri remained sitting silent, staring off into space contemplating whether she should ask the question in her brain, or keep it to herself. She often had a bad habit of overthinking almost everything she did- regardless how small and meaningless it might be. Right now, she didn't want to interrupt her friends studying over a silly question that didn't matter, but she also wanted to know their opinion on it.
