Ophelia groaned, trying to sit up, only to have Alex's hand force to lie back down. Her vision was blurry and her head was pounding.

"Don't move. I'm paging Hunt and Kepner." Alex said, reaching for his pager. Gage was standing beside him, a shocked look on his face.

"What the hell? Don't you look where you're going?" Alex yelled, turning around to face the person who bumped into Ophelia. It was a doctor from a different department, so it wasn't like either of the surgeons knew him.

"Alex," Ophelia whispered and he turned back, bending down beside her, "Hunt and Kepner can't get here unless the Code Pink is called off, you have to bring Gafe back."

"Ophs, I'm not leaving you-"

"Go."

Alex sighed, picking up Gage and walking off after making sure ,a nurse was with her, glancing back a few times, before he rounded the corner and was out of Ophelia's sight.

The alarm soon stopped, and Ophelia's headache had lessened, although her ankle had started throbbing.

"Lopez, what happened?" Owen said as he ran up, a few ER nurses following with a backboard.

"I swear, it was an accident-" the other doctor said, but Owen interrupted.

"I asked Lopez, not you." He snapped, getting Ophelia on the back board.

"I was trying to find Gage, and then he bumped into me and I fell." Ophelia explained. She wasn't enjoying being on a backboard, but she knew that it was because she fell, and it was standard procedure, so she let them.

"Well, you know the procedure. We've gotta call your emergency contact, which I'm assuming is Mer or Amelia, but since Meredith's in surgery, I paged Amelia."

"You did what?" Ophelia cried, trying to sit up, but the restraint holding her head down prevented her from doing so.

"Why? Is she not your person? Oh, please tell me-"

"No, she is, but she's going to absolutely kick my ass!" Ophelia groaned. They had arrived at the ER, and Amelia still hadn't turned up, and Ophelia was proven fine, so they moved her to the clinic so she could get her ankle checked out by Callie.

"It looks like it's not your day today, Lopez, because you have fractured your ankle, which means no work for you for a long while." Callie said, pulling her gloves off. Ophelia threw her head back. This is not what she needed today.

"Ophelia Andrea Lopez!" A demanding voice yelled into the clinic, which made Ophelia groan even harder, as she lay back against the pillows on her bed. Callie's eyes widened as she watched Amelia enter the clinic, and she pretended to be busy with the computer.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Amelia asked as she practically ran over, using her hand to tilt Ophelia's face from side to side.

"Amelia, I'm fine." Ophelia whined, trying to get her head out of Amelia's grasp.

"Well, she's actually fractured her ankle-" Callie said, trying to help the situation.

"Callie!" Ophelia said, and the Latina left the area quickly.

"What happened?" Amelia asked more softly, sitting beside her girlfriend on the bed.

"Well, me and Alex were trying to find Gage, and we found him hiding under the staircase, and then, when we were about to leave, someone bumped into me and I fell." Ophelia explained. She purposefully left out which department the person belonged to, knowing Amelia would be after their ass as soon as she knew their name.

"People need be more careful, I swear." Amelia grumbled, clearly not pleased with the fact that her girlfriend was going to have to spend so much time off work.

So much time away from her.

"Yeah, but, hey, Mer can get free babysitting for Ellis." Ophelia joked, and Amelia had the graces to smile.

"Well, we've got to go get your boot, and then you can go home." Callie said, walking back over, pushing a wheelchair.

After Ophelia had gotten her boot fitted, Amelia helped her to the daycare so she could pick up Ellis.

"Oh, did you hear Warren performed and emergency-C in a hallway?" Amelia said as they played with Ellis and the colourful blocks.

"What the he-" She was cut off with a glare from Amelia and a gesture to Ellis, "What the heck was he thinking?"

"No clue." Amelia sighed, taking the block that Ellis handed her, although she immediately wanted it back, taking it from her aunt's hands.

"Well, little miss and I should pribably leave. Maggie's heading home soon anyway." Ophelia said, picking up Ellis and making her way to the door, hobbling slightly.

"Okay. And, Fee?" Amelia said, and the Latina turned back round.

"I love you."

Ophelia smiled, and she got the same feeling she did everytime Amelia told her those three words.

"I love you too."
