Sunday 3am
Jennie's P.O.V.
I'd always enjoyed the midnight hours. I suppose you could say my favourite time of day is night.
There is something so intriguing, so mysterious about staying awake in those hours of the early morning waiting for that first rise of sunlight. It's like a calming moment of quiet tranquility in an otherwise hectic world.
This night was no different. It was silent as I watched Lisa sleep, cuddled up beside me. She looked so peaceful, with a content smile on her beautiful face. I hoped she dreamt of all the amazing wonders we'd experience together like I had since we'd met.
After leaving the after party from the promotions event, I brought Lisa back to her apartment. She was slightly tipsy and drunk but managed to tell me the address as we made our way to her apartment, less than a short half an hour ride away from the venue.
In her ramblings, she asked me to stay to which I of course obliged. I wanted to make sure she was okay and not left alone. I also couldn't help but enjoy finding out more about her as she stumbled into her room and fell asleep minutes later on her bed surrounded by fluffy pillows and a pink duvet with a soft, blue blanket.
From the moment I arrived, I found her apartment to be fascinating. It was simple in design with a open plan lounge and kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. It was nicely decorated and fairly tidy but lived in with basic furnishings that she shared with Rosé. Yet everywhere I looked, there were subtle hints of her character.
Her room was full of unique artwork, photographs she'd taken showcasing an interest in photography. There were postcards from her family and friends on a wall nearby beside her bookshelf that was cluttered with CDs of her favourite idols and books on choreography. Surprisingly though, I learned she loved animals as there was a large amount of cat plushes in a corner mounted on a shelf above her desk.
The more I found out about her, the more I wanted to know. After looking casually through the drawers of her desk finding the usual cosmetics, I wandered over to the mirror, fixing my hair casually in the reflection.
Sorting through Lisa's wardrobe, it was so different to mine that was a room in itself. Her style was more casual compared to mine too which was usually more tailored towards designer brands. I searched through and found one of her light blue sweaters, her strawberry scent lingered on it as I decided to wear it before closing the wardrobe and wandering around the rest of the apartment.
I wanted to know why I was so fascinated by her, where this infatuation came from. Why were thoughts of her so stuck in my head? It was interesting noticing the sort of food Lisa liked from the leftovers in the kitchen and her favourite types of perfume on the side of her desk.
With each new fact I discovered, it made me smile so much more than it should. She kept a journal too that was locked in her desk that intrigued me to no end but sadly before I could be tempted more to open it, she slowly stirred nearby in her sleep.
