Tuesday 10pm

Lisa's P.O.V.

It had been a less than a day since my whole world had started to crumble. I'd wished to be lost in feelings of love but instead it was myself I'd lost along the way.

For hours Jennie had sat outside the villa suite, talking to me through the door. It sounded like her, it looked like her but it felt like someone entirely different. It was hard to know what was real anymore.

Glancing around, there was enough in the suite to get by comfortably but eventually I'd have to go outside. I just couldn't face Jennie. What else was there to say? I needed time and space, 2 things she wouldn't allow.

It was an odd sensation, sitting in the room that reminded me so much of Seoul. As the hours passed, it became more bizarre. I was overthinking every moment Jennie and I had shared wondering where it had all gone wrong. I sat, waiting and watching as the sun from the window had slowly faded and moonlight shone into the room.

Tiredly, I lay down in the bed and tried to drift off to sleep with only the soothing sound of gentle raindrops falling on the window pane

Tiredly, I lay down in the bed and tried to drift off to sleep with only the soothing sound of gentle raindrops falling on the window pane.

Within minutes, I was in a dreamland. Living in a world of nostalgia, filled with fond stories of Jennie and I and visions of the life we would have had. A tear fell down my cheek without me even realising as I slept alone without her that night.

A soft purring woke me from my slumber a few hours later as the room had now descended into darkness. I noticed Leo on the windowsill, tapping at the glass with his tiny paw to enter the building. I dried my tears on the sleeve of my sweatshirt and wandered across the room, carefully lifting the window to let him in. I hugged him gently as he snuggled closely into the warmth.

It was only then I realised that Jennie must have ventured back into the house, perhaps to escape from the rain. She was nowhere in sight but a light was on in the kitchen of the grand house on the hill. I realised this was an opportunity to seek help.

Remembering Jisoo's words about the boathouse, I fumbled for my phone that was in the pocket of my jacket laying on the side of the couch. Switching it on, I noticed only a small percentage of battery left.

Quietly, I tiptoed out of the villa suite and made my way towards the boathouse making sure to be careful of brambles and rocks along the shore. It was a short distance but it seemed an eternity in the night with little light to guide the way.

Somehow, as if by magic, I made it there and noticed a bar of signal on the screen of the phone. As quick as I could, I dialled Rosé's number that was on speed dial.

The boathouse was a relatively large building consisting of one room and wooden panelling that was filled with several canoes and few jetskiis that seemed as if they hadn't been used in quite some time. A small but prestigious yacht was in the center of the room in a state of repair. There was only 2 windows located at the back of the room that I stood beside to ensure the moonlight could act as my flashlight that night.
