It had been a long day in the Circus... Pomni had another panic attack and ran away, resulting in the whole gang having to search for her. 

Cain even made it this 'New Adventure!' and called it "Where is Pomni?", something like hide and seek. Of course Jax was like "Me and y/n will search together, while you all are on your own." And walked off just like that.

I quickly ran after him and after 7 hours we finally found her in her room... A waste of time, but it was quite fun in the end. We all had dinner together, Jax arguing with Zooble about his behavior and Kinger suspecting me and Jax being "more than friends"...

Yeah... we keep this relationship a secret from the others. Not only because Jax is too much of an jackass to tell the others, but also because it would maybe be better for everyone NOT to know. 

It was now that we were chatting a little bit, and under 'we' we understand me and Kinger. I could see Jax glaring at us from a distance. Boy did he not look happy... But I shrugged it off. His fault for wanting a secret relationship and getting jealous over nothing! 

Besides... Kinger is 48 years old, I'm 19! Nothing illegal but y'know... There are personal boundaries I wouldn't wanna cross. Kinger and I were talking about how politics work, and how messed up they are these days. 

Since Kinger has been here for so long he wants to know more about the world of today. He was amazed and couldn't get enough of my stories! About an hour later we agreed that it was time to get to our rooms, and that's what we did. 

We waved each other goodnight and I went off to lock my door. "You sure seem close with Kinger..." A sarcastic and all too familiar voice calls from behind. "Jax?!" I exclaim jumping slightly and seeing him laying on my bed.

"Easy shorty, it's just me." He smirks as he gets off your bed. He walks over to you slowly as your face flushes red. "Wait... How did you get into my room?!" You exclaim confused before he pulls out a key. "Oh... that's what Ragatha meant the other day..." You mutter under your breath as he chuckles.

"Soooo... Mind telling me why you and Kinger were talking for so long?" He asks with his facial expression clearly annoyed. "Is he... jealous?' You thought before mentally chuckling at his behavior. So being the good girlfriend you are, you decided to tease him. 

"I have no idea what you're talking about." You said casually as she walked past him and flopped on your bed. "You know for damn sure what I'm talking about... Don't play dumb with me." He huffs as he follows you. 

"Mmmm... Nope!" You shake your head as you get under the covers, instantly being welcomed by Jax's presence. "Jax..." You groan in frustration. "Yeah?" He asks like this was all just fine. "We won't fit in this bed together!" You protest. 

"Then I suggest you stop eating so much." He chuckles before pulling you close to him. "You did not just call me fat!" You protest but were silenced by Jax pressing his lips against yours.

"Be quiet... I can't hear your heart beating faster for me." He whispers before bringing your head towards his chest. You wanted to say something but thought it'd be for the best not to. You smiled as you slowly started to doze off to dreamland...
