I saw her beam, happy she was,
But I couldn't understand,
Who could find love that lasted for an eternity?
Twenty-one years;
Not a single love,
Others talk about romance.
I write about loneliness,
Others talk of stolen kisses,
Stolen hearts, and stolen smiles,
Yet I write about not being able to recognize my own pain.
And I reply to that someone
— "Please understand I'm a lonely soul."
