The morning came. Funny enough I was the first one to wake up. Dominic looked very peaceful and beautiful while sleeping. A few of his curls were in his face, so I gently moved them from his face and sat up. Looked at my phone. It was eight o'clock in the morning. I slowly laid down on my back and looked through social media, attempted to make sure the lighting of my phone wasn't hitting Dominic in order to not disturb his sleep. That lasted for about a half an hour and my boyfriend turned around and slowly woke up.
"Morning." His sleepy voice sounded so good. But I tried not to show it.
"Morning ."
He sat up and rubbed his eyes a bit, turned to look at me.
"What?"
"Nothing. Its just the first time we were sleeping in the same bed, all nigh. Parents didn't go against it."
"Yeah. But at least we didn't do anything in order for them to never allow us to do it again."
"Sure."
Silence followed. Either it was because of the time or the fact that we just generally didn't know what to say. Dominic got his phone and went on it, I followed him and did the same. We did this for fifteen minutes before both agreeing on getting up, dressing up and going to the kitchen. I helped him cook breakfast, it was pancakes and oatmeal. The parents soon emerged. My parents slept in the living room, the couch got made into a bed for two people. The food got served and the teas and coffees were brewing up. Everyone started to chat with one another. It was like the dinner from yesterday but it is a lot chiller this time. Seeing my parents happily talking with the Jacobs was really refreshing.
After breakfast my family got ready to leave the place. It was sad to say bye to them but I knew that I will be able to see Dominic in school. We got to our car and drove home. The ride was silent. Then we made it to the apartment complex building. Walked to our home's front door, dad uncooked it and we got in. After removing my coat and boots I marched to my room and laid down on my bed for a few minutes. Then got up and walked to my desk, turned up my computer and began to write my own feelings. Felt like doing that. The words were flowing nicely and my hadn't were getting cramped by how fast I had to type, there were definitely not only grammar but also just typos somewhere there. I wrote for good ten minutes and suddenly stopped. The wording was over five hundred words. I smiled happily. I think it would be my record time of that much written. I am so proud of my self. I started to reread it. It was ever ore delightful to read my own thoughts, I don't know if I would consider this a poem, more like spoken-written words on a page. But it gives a sense of purpose to me, maybe even to someone else one day. I doubt this is going to go anywhere out in the world, I might just keep it to myself.
Since I was that productive for some time I decided to got to the kitchen and grab a snack. after I did that I returned to my room and laid down on the bed with my phone in hand. I was snacking on a bag of mini pretzels. The videos and photos on social media took my mind off my writing and was clearing up my head, filling it with other things. It helped. The bag of pretzels were gone and I was bored. I had nothing to do. An idea popped into my head. I got dressed, told my parents where I was going and walked out of the apartment towards the bus stop. I was heading to my favorite cafe book shop. Haven't been there in some time, mostly I visited the coffee shop near school. Did have an appointment with my therapist a few weeks ago and since I was getting better it was more fun being in the office of hers. She was happy for me.
Once I entered the cafe, I ordered my drink and after receiving it sat down in the corner of the shop, thankfully no one sat in that specific spot, I really wanted to sit there. The weather outside was good, just cold since it is winter time but not snowing or anything, cloudy but sometimes the sun shines through. I took with me a book that I was currently reading. The vibe today was astonishing. Waking up next to my boyfriend, even just hanging out with his parents, going to a cafe book store, having my favorite spot there free and I am also drinking my favorite drink and reading a good book. How can this get any better? I am that idiot who orders a cold drink in the middle of winter season, but at least I am not planning on going outside and drinking it in the cold weather, so inside doesn't count as much.
