Wasn't it a beautiful evening,
When we sat on the shore and heard the birds chirping.
The evening had already started darkening,
As it started thundering and lightening.
We kept walking on the shores of marine until we reached to the end of the terrain,
Looking at the beautiful atmosphere we already knew it was gonna rain.
You were just so amazed with the sight that you saw,
You hugged me tight and said "thank you for showing me this wonderful place after all."
We sat down there under the beautiful ceiling full of stars,
Gazing at the waves coming towards us from far.
It slowly started drizzling and we knew that we were going to get wet,
But we decided to be there until we saw the beautiful sunset.
Both of us have a backstory where marines have played its part,
And yet it plays an important part where our story has just start.
But this time it was different cause we know that we are not going repeat the mistakes of the past,
As our past never brought us glory but left us as outcast.
We walked through the rain and soon reached your residence,
Our beautiful evening was about to end and it was our time to say good bye.
I held you in my arms so tight never to let you go,
You kissed my cheeks and told me that we will meet again very soon.
I kissed you back and we parted with a smile,
And that's how our first date ended where we walked almost a mile.
