chapter two

Your POV:

I wake up and try to turnover jade has her arms around me. I turn off the alarm, and jade is still sleeping. I'm kind of scared to wake her up.

"jade.." I say gently

"what." she says in a raspy voice

"it's time for school" I say softly

"yeah, yeah"

she lets go of me, and i get out of bed, and get ready for school. I go back to my room and jade is still sleeping.

"jade" I say kind of quietly

she doesn't wake up "jade" I say a little bit louder

"what!" she screams

"it's time for school" I say nonchalantly

"oh sorry" she says coldly.

we finally get to school after jade making me late. we walk in to the school and i start walking to my locker.

"where are you going?" jade questions

"to my locker?" I say in a confused voice

"your not gonna walk me to my locker" she say raising her eye brow

"i'm not your pet" I furrowing my eyebrows

"walk with my to my locker." she demands

I look away "you could ask me you know."

she gives me a look and I give up and I follow her to her locker. she grabs her stuff and turns and looks at me.

"wanna hangout tonight?" she asks

"everyone's going to tori's, if you were here yesterday you would know" I say rolling my eyes

she groans really loudly, "just come to tori's" i say

"I don't like tori."

"just come to tori's for me please" i say

"fine."

I grab her hand and drag her to my locker, we go to class. It's lunch time and me and jade walk to the lunch table.

"well looks like you two have gotten pretty close." beck says as soon as we sit down

"um I guess, we've been friends for ever?" I say confused

"how'd you get that bruise?" beck asks aggressively

"leave her alone dude!" jade chimes in

"no! how did you get the bruise?!" he asks basically yelling now

"uh..I-" I stutter struggling to come up with something anything

"she obviously doesn't wanna talk about it so leave it alone man" andre butts in giving me a small smile

I mouth 'thank you' and smile back, I see a worried look in his eyes. We all start eating our food, andre robbie, tori, and cat are all talking about their day. I'm not talking much, I look over at beck he's not talking at all, and jade has gone quiet too, she hasn't even made a mean or witty comment this whole time.

I look at her kind of concerned, I place my hand on hers and squeeze. She doesn't pull back, she looks down and my hand, and runs her fingers along the bruise. She starts to get up and as she's getting up she whispers 'i'm sorry' in my ear. It's quiet and sincere. I watch her walk away, but nobody else seems to notice.

after a while of sitting and listening to all my friends talk. I get up to go find jade, I know exactly where she went. I go into the janitors closet and see jade sitting on floor cutting up a book.

"out, now!" she demands

I don't say anything I simply sit down next to her. "what's up" I ask

"didn't I just say get out!" she whisper yells in a defeated tone.

"yup, anyways what's up? what's going on?" I continue questioning

"you just don't give up do you" she say's chuckling

I give her a slight smile, but she's not smiling not even a slight smirk. She has this scary look on her face.

"what do I have to do to get you to be scared of me." she says pointing her scissors at me

I swallow "I'm not gonna let you push me away like everyone else, I care about you and i'm not gonna let you dig yourself into a hole"

she drops the scissors, she looks so small, vulnerable. all of a sudden her arm are rapped around me, I flinch then immediately hug back. We sit like this for a while. the bell rings, she lets go.

"thank you." she says so quickly I can barley hear it

I stand up and so does she, and we walk out in silence. she didn't even bother to threaten me into not saying anything this time. 

I smile to myself, It's nice to see jade be vulnerable for once. I feel a hand grab my shoulder, I turn around. Its beck, he looks angry, really angry.

"what were you doing in the janitors closet with jade?" he asks

"just talking she was upset, I was just trying to help.." I state calmly

"well stay away from my girlfriend!" he says angrily

"she broke up with you." I mumble

"not for long jade is mine, leave her alone you lesbian freak!" he says whispering but also shouting at the same time

my face drops beck's supposed to be my friend, I don't wanna reply so i look around to try and get out of this situation.

"hey andre!" I yell to him my voice cracking

he sees me and waves, and I walk over to him. beck's crazy, he doesn't own jade, I don't even like her like that I don't think...
