Craig was sitting on his bed, texting. Thank God Tweek was allowed to have a phone in there.
Craig sighed as he heard his parents walk up to his room and knock. He had locked the door; he didn't want to be near anyone right now.
He heard his mom talk through the door, "Craig... dinner's ready. You've been in there for hours."
Craig is silent; he didn't want to come out.
"Craig," his dad's voice started, "We get you're upset about Tweek's condition, but you can't just lock yourself in your room. Unlike him, you can be around people."
Craig rolls his eyes. That case didn't feel fair. Why should he get to walk around free while Tweek was in a hospital isolation room alone?
Craig held his phone tightly, frustrated, "It's not about being around people. Tweek needs me; I'm the only person he can talk to right now, other than the doctors."
His mom's voice softened, "We understand, sweetheart, but you need to take care of yourself too. Tweek wouldn't want you isolating yourself like this."
Craig sighs as a text comes through his phone from Tweek, "Sorry for the odd request but can you maybe bring me some of my parents' coffee tomorrow? The coffee here tastes like shit."
Craig smiled as he answered, "Yeah, of course. I can try."
"Thanks. I think I'm starting to feel withdrawal symptoms. Or maybe that's just the sickness."
Craig chuckled, "It'll be ok Tweek. Just hang in there."
Craig then hears a knock at his door again. He sighs and hears his mom's voice.
"Craig. How about this... if you come out and socialize a little, then we'll get you and some other people close to Tweek to go up and visit him. Would you like that?"
Craig is silent as he thought about it. Did Tweek have anyone close to him? Now that Craig thought of it, he never really saw Tweek with anyone. He was always alone. Not hang out with anyone, not talking with anyone. Just by himself, twiching.
He texted Tweek, "Hey Tweek? Do you have any friends?"
He waited for a response, hoping that it wasn't an odd question.
Tweek soon answered, "I mean...not really. Why? You're not getting bored of me, are you?"
Craig could feel Tweek's anxiety through the text. Craig knew that he should have phrased it differently.
"No! No! I'm just wondering cause I was hoping maybe I could bring some people up to you."
"Oh that sounds nice, but I don't know who you can bring. I'm sorry Craig."
Craig frowned, "Don't apologize, Tweek. I'll figure something out. Maybe some classmates. I want you to have some company, not just me."
"Thanks, Craig."
"I'm happy that I'm 'dating' you." Tweek double texted.Craig felt his face go red as he smiled, "I'm happy too."
Craig then got up, went to his door. He sighed as he unlocked and opened it. Outside he saw his parents; they smiled when they saw him.
"Thank you, Craig. Now, let's go have dinner," his mom said, happy.
Craig nodded and started to walk downstairs. His parents followed, happy that Craig finally left his room.
Though Craig was just thinking about who to bring to Tweek. Who would come? Who would Tweek like? What would make him happy?
