The Abyss, the Deep, and the Sky

I've felt it once again
I'm walking on the abyss
I've carried all the pain
A parting, bitter kiss

And who would I be calling?
Alone amidst this breeze
It's chilling like the frost
That eats away the flesh of things

And I look down, deeper as it goes through the dark
The taunting rages in my mind
It's like the beasts are hungry to feed on my soul
Fear then ungulfs the courage in my heart
And I hear the whispering wind is pushing me along
"Stretch your arms and fall. Fall into the deep. Leave the things above where e'er you stand."

Cause when there's no one to believe
And there is none that I conceived to be better
Hope or future
My conscience silenced by louder voices
The chains entangling,
I'm bound to be unfree!

Oh, would I fly or fall
When I'm confused and all
And I don't know which one to choose?
Oh, would I dare or drown
To choose the sky not down
Though it all seems impossible?
Would the sun let me rise above this ground?
To reach its light and never let me fall and in the deep be found.
