When She Fell Beneath, Under and Over

Chapter VII

I feel like a zombie. Tuwing uwian na lang ako naeexcite kasi hinahatid ako ni Zyd pauwi. It feels like after a very stressful day, I am rewarded with a very much handsome driver. Haaaay. Ang swerte ko talaga.

"Next week is foundation week and I know you're all probably excited but please have in mind that the upcoming weeks after that will be your midterms" sabi nung prof ko sa last subject ko for the day. "I can't have anyone failing this class, understand?"

Lahat na lang kami tumango. It's friday and weekends na naman!! Last weekend masaya since kasama ko sina Sav and Ta sa bahay but they were such a bully since nalaman nila na hinahatid ako lagi ni Zyd sa bahay and when they saw him that day as well ay parang sasabog sa tuwa ang dalawa. I love them as my bestfriends too pero sobrang nahihiya pa rin ako ishare sa ginagawa ni Zyd para sa akin.

I appreciate it so much and the time we spent together talking are the moments that I treasure. Ang dami kong nalalaman about him like he loves racing and a lot of sports apparently. I mean given na sa basketball but he knows a lot of stuff about soccer and fencing! My gosh. Baliw na baliw talaga ako sa kanya. Kung pwede ko lang siya iuwi at idisplay na lang sa bahay.

I had to drop by at the SG office for a few hours and by 8PM ay uuwi na ako pero bago ako umalis ng room ay napansin kong may ilang girls na titingin sa akin tapos magbubulungan. I tried to give them a smile pero bigla naman silang iiwas ng tingin.

It's kind of getting in my nerves to be honest.

Sel, mabait ka dapat today. Wag ka maging mataray please. Stop with you anger issues.

Papalampasin ko na sana kaso ang dami nilang tingin ng tingin sa akin lalo na ng lumabas na ang prof namin.

"Sa tingin mo totoo yon? Nakita raw nina Lyla at Sofia kagabi" kahit bulong yon nung isa kong kaklase ay rinig ko pa rin naman.

"should we ask Sel? Mabait naman yan si vice"

I have an idea what they're thinking pero inignore ko na lang at lumabas but I gave them a soft smile while leaving.

Hindi naman kalayuan ang SG office pero napapansin kong habang naglalalad ay marami pa rin ang nakatingin sa akin. I'm trying to ignore them pero hindi ko mapigilan ang mainis sa ginagawa nila. It feels like everyone's attention is really on me today.

What the hell is this.

Binilisan ko na lang ang lakad ko. Mabilis akong nakarating sa SG office at inayos yung books and some of my stuff. Naabutan ko roon ang ilang mga sg officers na kaclose ko naman.

"omg Sel, is is true na boyfriend mo daw si Zyd Fuego?"

My eyes widened at their question. I tried to fake it though may hinala naman talaga ako na itatanong nila iyon. I know someone must have noticed it by now, ilang weeks na din akong hinahatid ni Zyd pauwi.

"Uhhh..no" I gave them an awkward laugh. "Where did you get that stupid idea? He's just a friend" dugtong ko. Hindi ko alam kung paano idedescribe ang kung anuman ang meron sa amin ni Zyd but I think...we're friends?? I'm really not sure.

"Weh? May nakakita sa inyo na hinahatid ka ni Fuego every night, nung una akala nila coincidence but someone saw it every single night" I tried to hide my smile and bit my lip.

"No, really. Me and Zyd are just friends, nothing more"

"Di ako naniniwala, imposible naman na friends lang kayo tapos hinahatid ka every night" dagdag nung secretary namin. Napaka chismosa naman nito!

"Really. Uhhh..he's just available sometimes kaya sumasabay na ako" I added para matapos na. Ayoko na lang maissue. Kahit gaano ako kadaldal in person, I like having my privacy.
