42: Back to the Castle

Taehyung was wide awake. He was sprawled on the bed, arms and legs wide apart as he stared off into space. It's been thirty minutes since he'd been in the same position. Why? All because of one sentence Jungkook said 'You're going back to the castle.' Just as he said that, he ran out of the room without giving Taehyung a chance to speak. It's not that he doesn't want to go. He wants to. He truly does, but then what about his parents here? His whole family... Won't he miss them? Even though he acts like a complete spoiled brat, he loves these people. He is loved here, adored. How can he just abandon them and go.
But he knew deep down... Him staying here would bring more danger to the pack. He sighed and ruffled his hairs.
"What do I do?" He moaned into the pillow.
"Get up and get dressed."
Taehyung sat up on hearing Jungkook's voice and saw him step into the room.
"I hate this." He said pouting.
Jungkook dropped himself on the bed next to Taehyung. "I know you don't want to leave yet. I know it's fast. But you know the more you stay here the more dangerous it will be... Both for them and you. This pack can't give you the protection our castle can give Tae."
Taehyung looked down and chewed his lips. He didn't like this situation. "You'll come with me won't you?" He asked hopefully.
Jungkook cuddled the boy closer. "Of course I will. Won't let you leave my sight this time. I'll be by your side always." At that Taehyung smiled.
"Now get ready."

"Why does my son have to leave again?" The alpha asked giving suspicious looks to the royals.
"Dad... The elder said he is in danger. He thinks they are coming after Tae." Namjoon said. He was frustrated. He knew everything. But he couldn't tell his dad.
"Why?"
"Apparently he's a blessed soul?" Jin said. Well he was kind of.
This was the third time they were having the same conversation. But it seems like the alpha didn't want to let go of his son.
"But why him?"
"Dad, let him go alright. We want him safe, don't we? I'm sure he'll be safe there."
The alpha reluctantly nodded. And then he saw Taehyung walking down with Jungkook.
"So you're going to leave huh?"
Taehyung nodded.
"Good riddance." The alpha said smugly. Taehyung dropped his jaw and stared at his dad wide eyed.
The others snickered in the background.
"You mister... You are a rude man! I was going to say you don't need to miss me and all but now I won't. I'll be happy not having your nosy ass behind my back all the time." Taehyung huffed and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Language young man." The alpha said as he pulled the angry boy into a small hug. "Don't get into trouble alright."
"I won't." Taehyung said as he smiled against his dad's chest.

Taehyung was excited he was going to see his mama and papa after years. Jungkook told him that they didn't know about him. They only knew about the elemental wolf and that he's being brought into the castle for protection. Oh, won't he love their gobsmacked expression when they see him. He giggled at the thought.
"Don't give them a heart attack alright." Jungkook said smiling at the excited boy.
"As if I can... Hey tell me is everything just the same there. No wait, I don't think so. The place must have changed a lot..."
"Changed... Yeah it has... A lot actually. Hasn't it Kook? Oh! Except your room that is... Jungkook kept it just the way it was." Hoseok informed.
Taehyung stared at Jungkook for a while they simply shook his head.
Finally after a long run they reached the place.
"Wait this place still has barriers?" Taehyung asked as he couldn't spot the castle anywhere, instead there was the huge forest and hills.
"Of course. How do you think we kept out identity hidden for all these years? There are about thirteen witches in the castle now and those thirteen wouldn't dare to turn their backs on us... We made them do a blood oath."
"Woah!" Taehyung exclaimed amazed.
Jungkook held out his hand for Taehyung. "Hold on if you want to enter the place."
Taehyung stuck out his tongue at him but held his hand. Together they entered the place once again and Taehyung was able to see the castle.
"MOTHER... FATHER..." Jungkook screamed as he entered the castle.
"You still call them mother and father...? How old fashioned. I know you are old and all but try to keep up with the generation and time will you." Taehyung pressed his lips together to stop himself from laughing seeing the betrayed expression on Jungkook's face.
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that." Jungkook grumbled and dragged a snickering Taehyung along with him with a small pout on his lips. He was not old. Nope. No way... He is still young and filled with so much energy. Taehyung should know that!
Taehyung was watching the whole place with wide eyes. Hoseok was right. The place had changed. Time really did its work.
Taehyung giggled as he saw some familiar faces staring at them with their jaws dropped while some new faces with narrow eyes. He could hear whispers 'Who's that?' or 'Is that really him?' or 'Why is he holding hands with the price?' or 'How is this possible?'
Before they could reach the main hall, Taehyung saw the queen running towards them.
"Jungkook why were you screami- Wha!" The queen stopped in her tracks as soon as she spotted the giggling boy next to her son.
"Jungkook! What?... Is that...?"
By now even the king were here.
"What's happening- Oh my god!"
"Hi mama... papa..." Taehyung said in a small voice.
"Tae! You're back!" The queen smiled through her tears and hugged him.
"I am. It feels nice to be back." Taehyung grinned and hugged her back.
After catching up with their lives till now, Jungkook put forth the real matter into discussion.
"This time they won't get you Tae. The castle is prepared now."
Giving the instruction to tighten the security more, and doubled the strength of the barrier. Everyone retired to their sleeping chambers.
Jungkook pushed open their room and stepped aside.
"After you my queen."
"Say that again and you are dead." Taehyung warned, glaring at Jungkook.
"What? You will be the queen though..." Jungkook said grinning.
"Shut. Up."
Taehyung stomped into the room and found it was just the same. Exactly the way it was before.
"Hyung was right... Nothing has changed here." Taehyung whispered as he looked all over the place... A small smile playing on his lips, remembering every beautiful memory they had here.
Jungkook came from behind and circled his arms around the other's slim waist. He rested his chin on Taehyung's shoulder "Well how can I let anyone change this place... When every inch of this room is filled with your memory...." He whispered biting on his earlobe.
Taehyung moaned softly and held Jungkook's hands which were around his stomach.
"Now that you're here. We can redesign this place together... Making it a paradise...."
"Oh... Jungkook~" Taehyung moaned again as Jungkook trailed kisses from his ear to his neck.
"... Our paradise..."
Taehyung smiled and turned around in Jungkook's arms. His hands locked around Jungkook's neck as he looked deeply into the eyes that were already staring at him. He bit his lips and snuggled his head into Jungkook's chest "My paradise is right here." He mumbled and kissed the fabric right where Jungkook's heart was.
He felt the arms around him tightening as he was flushed more into the other.
Jungkook couldn't stop himself from smiling widely. He peppered kisses over Taehyung's head. He stuffed his face into the other's fluffy hair and inhaled the sweet scent... That was his mate.
With one hand he cupped Taehyung's cheek and lifted his head, making their eyes come in contact. He saw Taehyung's eyes sparkle. He leaned and kissed his forehead, eyes, cheeks, nose and everywhere on the flushed face of his mate. Leaning in again, he pressed his lips firmly against the other's. He leaned back and stared at him again. His heart swelled up by the way Taehyung was staring back at him. He could see his own feelings reflecting in the other's eyes. He leaned in and pecked the other's lips again and again...
"My baby... Only mine..."
Taehyung smiled and pulled Jungkook forward just so their lips were brushing against each other...
"Only yours..." He whispered before he opened his lips and kissed his mate deeply.
