51: Truth Finally Revealed

Taehyung jumped a little as he heard his mates voice suddenly booming in his head. This was a lot to take in. Marylin was alive! All this time... Marylin lived but lost her soul... Because of him!
'Jungkook... Maryl-... she... its her.' He was at loss for words.
'I heard. I'm as lost as you are baby. But keep away from that demon Tae. Don't let him get you... I can't even get out of here...' He heard Jungkook. He sounded desperate and scared.
To be honest Taehyung was lost. How did this happen? How did Marylin manage to survive without a soul and now she's a wolf? She wasn't one before. She was a witch, but now she's a wolf and have a mate... Hoseok? How... To many questions ran through Taehyung's mind.
"I can see you are lost Taehyung... Want to know what happened to Marylin?" The demon asked, it's voice deep and rough.
Taehyung wanted to know. But he also wanted to get to Jungkook fast. But then Marylin...
Nervously licking his dry lips he nodded. Maybe he could save both from the hands of these devils... Somehow he saw the demon nodding at the witch.
"Hmm... This is long but I guess if you want to know..." Rosaline started "You see Marylin here was never a whole witch... She was a werewolf from birth-"
'What!'
"What!" Taehyung asked breaking her off. He was in shock just like Jungkook.
"Shocked? But it's true, her father was a wolf. You might know him... After all he was once your father too."
Taehyung could only stare at her. The words she said not exactly registering into his mind. His father... Marylin's father...
He could hear Jungkook gasping in shock.
'K-Kookie...' He called out for his mate. He wanted strength. Only Jungkook could give that...
'I'm here baby. T-this is... hear her out. Let her speak more.' His voice calmed him...
"What do you mean? How?" Taehyung asked slowly.
"Your former father and I knew each other... loved each other. We were happy. But then his mate came in between us." She gritted her teeth. "I wanted to kill him for choosing her. But I couldn't. We still loved each other. Marylin is our daughter. I knew she had a wolf. I wanted her by my side as a witch, so I did the most reasonable thing. Locked up her wolf. A simple ritual was enough for that. And she never realized she had wolf."
Rosaline smirked slightly but then it disappeared, her whole form began to shake with anger. "I had to share his love with another woman but I held on. I loved him dearly. He promised me he'd leave your mother one day. Everything was going perfect. We had plans to gain power. But then things went wrong. You and the prince..." She spat the words.
"... Destroyed everything. My plans... my world was destroyed. My love was snatched from me. That's when I vowed that I will destroy both of your lives. And I successfully did. I snatched your happiness as you snatched mine. And her... My daughter who was supposed to obey and follow me, abandoned me and sided with you. A fool with emotions. But then she died. No... almost died. Her soul left her body. Her soul pure as yours. It easily attracted our Lord. Your soul was bound to another, making unable for our Lord to have it. So in exchange for the small mistake we made... He took her soul instead of yours."
Taehyung felt his knees go weak. This was too much. All this.. this buried truth... coming out now... He kept staring at the witch barely breathing.
'Hold on baby... It is too much I know. But don't go weak in front of them...' He heard Jungkook's gentle voice whisper to him. He held his hand in a fist and listened more.
"But she had luck. Her wolf broke out at the right time. Just as long as the connection between the wolf and the soul is not broken, she'd be alive. He took her soul but didn't let the connection with her wolf break. The soul kept his core powerful and in return he kept her immortal. She no longer is a witch... sad, but now she's our puppet. Our loyal puppet." She said with a small smile.
Taehyung wanted to cry and shout. This was all his fault. He destroyed Marylin's life. And she was his sister? All this time and he never knew. He could feel Jungkook's anger through the bond along with his.
'Tae, don't start blaming yourself again. Its her who should feel guilty. It's her who should pay. And she will suffer.' Jungkook promised. Taehyung too.
"And he offered to stay with us in exchange we provide him with helpless pitiful souls he could feed on... Thus he became our Lord by possessing Changwoo." The witch finished, causing the demon beside her to smirk.
"Well little Taehyung... Let's get to more important things now. Your mate... you want him?" The demon spoke gaining Taehyung's attention.
Taehyung stared at him. The demon who was smirking at him like a predator. The man who he knew as Changwoo but now a demon, watched him with those demonic eyes.
"Where is he?" Taehyung asked the question once again.
"Lets make a deal Taehyung. You join us and we'll let go of your mate... harmless."
'What the fuck!' He heard Jungkook curse 'That's bullshit!'
Taehyung glared at them. This is not something he can choose. What rubbish!
"What if I don't want to make a deal?" Taehyung asked.
The demon raised his or Changwoo's eyebrows. "Well then what if we say we'll let go of your mate and Marylin in exchange for yourself. And by Marylin I mean her soul. That old friend of yours... Do you want her back?"
Taehyung stood quietly. What should he do?
