Gauche was panting heavily as the spell used a lot of his mana. Yami dropped the cocoon spell.

Finral:"Wow... Nice save Gauche!"

Asta:"Whoa! No way! Hey, you guys, what happened? How are we still alive?"

Gauche:"My mirror magic... reflected his attack... I didn't see it hit the smug bastard, but there's no way he could've dodged it!"

Yami:"HAHAHAHA! Glad you dragged your scrawny ass back and that you brought a fancy new spell with ya!"

Gauche:"Captain, you made me who I am today. Thank you. I owe you everything."

Yami:"Whoa! Is that so? In that case, I get all the credit for beating the light mage, right?"

Asta:"What sense does that make?! Gauche did everything while you just stood there!"

Yami started to squeeze his head as Gauche snapped at Finral to take him back to Marie. Finral used the last bit of his magic to bring him to the cave where we were, so we couldn't leave until he recovered his magic. We all walked over to Licht as he glanced over at Gauche.

Licht:"I'm sorry. I should never have... hurt you..."

Gauche:"Me? What are you talking about?"

Yami:"Whoa, didn't know you guys were friends, or I wouldn't have beat him up."

Gauche:"Of course I'm not friends with this monster."

Licht:"One day, you'll understand."

Yami:"I don't think I'll ever understand you or your little goons. Well, we're gonna haul you off to headquarters. You can tell us all about the Eye of the Midnight Sun when we get there."

Yami restrained Licht with a magic spell as I looked up at the massive hole. When we set out, it was still nighttime, but morning had rolled around.

Back in Nean

Noelle contacted HQ and asked where the reinforcements were, Sekke told her that he went directly to the Black Bulls' hideout and told Captain Yami. She wondered where he was since he didn't show up at all to the village. Then, they heard the sounds of children crying with joy and parents exclaiming how they missed them. So her, Rebecca and her siblings rushed outside.

They were happy to see that everyone was reunited, but they couldn't find Luca, Marco, or any of the other Magic Knights. Nero flew past Noelle and led her to where the infirmary was. They ran inside and saw Luca and Marco there as Sister Theresa was being healed still. Rebecca and her siblings shared a massive hug before looking at Sister Theresa.

Rebecca:"What happened to Sister Theresa? Is she going to be okay?"

Theresa:"Don't worry about me, now. I'll be on my feet in no time. I've got at least another hundred years in me."

Rebecca:"Thank you! I don't know how we'll ever repay you for bringing them back to us."

Theresa:"You're welcome, but I certainly didn't do it alone. Those boys were..." *cough* *cough*

Mage:"Sister, no more talking..."

Noelle then saw the robe Marco had on.

Noelle:"That robe...!"

Marco:"Oh, it's (Y/n)'s, but he let me borrow it! He said as long as I wore it, I wouldn't be scared! And he was totally right! I had so much courage! I didn't even cry!"

Rebecca:"Good job! I'm proud of you!"

Noelle:"(Y/n)... He came back with you, didn't he?"

Marie:"He stayed behind at the cave."
