Lorelai came banging on the door right at noon with coffee in hand. She walked to the door, "Good morning, my lovely daughter. Today is your wedding day. Here is coffee; get in that shower and make yourself smell really good. Then come on downstairs with your stuff packed. We will eat and then head to the venue."
Rory took the coffee and shut the door; she sat down and drank it. She grabbed her dress to wear before the ceremony.
She grabbed her bath bag and went to the shower. She took a nice, long, relaxing shower. She shaved every inch, and it was baby-smooth. She got out and dried off.
She rubbed her lotion on her body and put deodorant on. She packed her stuff back up and grabbed her charger. She looked around to make sure she had everything, then made her way downstairs.
Sookie and Lorelai were both standing at a table with a ton of food. "Good morning. Our little Rory is all grown up and getting married. I remember when I was pregnant, and I couldn't really decide on what I wanted, so I made you a little of everything."
"Thanks, Sookie. Is Davy excited about the wedding?"
"Not really, he's upset he has to wear the suit. Martha is excited to show her dress off. Thank you for including the kids; it means a lot."
"Sookie, you are family. Of course, I am going to include your kids."
"Well, you didn't ask me to make your wedding cake or cater your dinner?"
"No, I didn't. The venue has a caterer. I wanted you to enjoy the wedding instead of stressing about the cake. Trying to transport the cake with Jackson and the kids would be too much, but trust me, you will be baking cakes for everything else. Our little bean's birthday's and anymore we have."
Sookie wiped her eyes. "I just love you. That means a lot to me, and I can't wait. We can start planning the baby shower cake in a couple of months. Are you and Tristan going to find out the gender?"
"Yes, we both want to know. So we can prepare and be ready. Plus, we have to decide on a name."
"So, what are you doing for your honeymoon?"
"Well, we aren't really taking a honeymoon right now. We have Christmas in eight days, and then we have his family's New Year's party. But after that, we are going to Fez for two weeks. We are spending the night at the hotel, and then tomorrow, we will be driving to a secluded cabin he rented for six days."
"Well, you get two honeymoons."
"Yeah, kind of. I am just so excited to marry him and to start our new chapters in the rest of our life together."
"He really makes you happy, doesn't he kid?"
"Yeah, Sook, he really does." She ate her breakfast enough to get through until dinner tonight.
She stood up, "Okay, Mom, let's go. Sookie, remember to get Martha there early enough to get her hair fixed. I will see you in a little bit."
"Okay, sweetie." She hugged her, and she and Lorelai left. They drove to Hartford and arrived at the venue. She saw Tristan standing outside. She smiled at him as he talked to Finn.
"Mom, I need you to walk over there and tell the guys they have to hide because we are here, and he can't see me before the wedding."
Lorelai walked over to the guys and smiled, "Hello, my friend from down-under and my soon-to-be son-in-law. I am going to need you gentlemen to step inside and stay hidden so the bride can get inside and get pretty for you."
"Rory's here? Oh, thank god, I was so afraid you and she had already skipped town. How is she doing?"
"That happened once, and she is doing okay. She showered and ate breakfast. Breathe, Tristan; she is here, and she is going to spend hours getting beautiful for you. So, shoo inside and let me get her in."
