I sighed massaging my temples.

" Are you okay?"

Joe moved closer touching my hair.

" I am fine" I picked up my phone to watch tiktok or read a book I just need to get my mind off it.

" She is not fine joe" erica said looking away from her phone.

" I am fine guys please I am fine " I argued then I went back to sleeping on the couch.

" You wanna eat something?"

" Noo... I am fine "

" Plantain?"

I shook my head.

" Rice? Beans? Noodles?" I shook my head telling him a no.

" Told you she is not fine " erica said standing up.

" I gotta go guys I will see you tomorrow love" she kissed my  forehead  and I managed to force a smile

" Bye joe" she waved and headed out.

" Do you wanna go out?" Joe looked at me expecting an answer.

" No..." I closed my eyes.

" It's been two days kay, you have to go out and get this shit outta your mind"

He said and I didn't open my eyes.

" No joe I don't want to go out" I turned sideways.

" Kay please" he begged.

" Fine!"

" Yay! Now let's get you dressed"

" I am not getting dressed I have my hoodie and joggers in my bag"

" Yuck! " He grimaced.

" Deal or no deal?" I pressed lips together.

" Fine!" I did a little victory dance and wore my hoodie and my joggers then I picked out my sunshades.

" Let's get ice cream I know you love it"

" I need it to ease mind"

I wore my shade to hide my eye bags I haven't had enough sleep.

" You look chic though"

" Thank you" I managed to smile

When we got to the eatery I immediately came down from the car pulling my hoodie cap away from my head.

" Go get us a table I will order us something" joe instructed but I scanned around the crowd.

Oh no!

" Wait! Joe" I squeaked out and pointed out.

" Well it's no big deal" he shrugged like it was nothing.

Well to him though.

I pulled my hoodie cover over my head pulling the ropes to cover my face.

" Stay with me , I don't want him to see me"  I panicked.

" So what do you want me to do?" He looked tired of my drama.

Well newsflash I am also tired of my drama.

" They are also coming here" I quickly snuggled closer to him.

" Have you seen how she moves" I could hear trinity high pitched laugh.

Ugh! Do you have to be so loud jeez!

I didn't hear her voice not until I heard someone calling my name.

Uh oh!

" Kanyinsola!" She called out and I looked back at her.

" Hi Trinity" I gave her a nervous smile .

" I thought I saw  someone who looked like you and besides I could see your signature hair pin"

Damn you hair pin!

" Ohhh....." I managed to say.

" Is this your boyfriend?"

" Yh he is "

Don't ask me questions you weirdo!

" Hi I am trinity" she extended her hands to joseph.

" This is my boyfriend momore" I almost sneered.

" Hi " I could feel mo's gaze at me but I decided to look away.

" Well we better get going"

She did all the talking and it was fucking annoying.

" Bye trinity"

The nerve of her to think she can be friends with me.

" Does she always talk like that?"

" You got bored too, that's how she talks"
