Same Night
The tension could be felt in the air as Sam made her rounds greeting everyone. Ron felt his nerves spike as he played with blender, trying to avoid making eye contact with her.
Ronnie- "When I hear Pauly go, "Oh, hey, Sam" I think Pauly's joking around like always," he explained. "I look up and I'm like..."
Pauly and Vinny noticed how uncomfortable Ron looked and discreetly got up from their seats before gesturing to Ron to follow them outside toward the patio.
"Oh, my god," Jenni exclaimed before standing up as the boys left the kitchen. "C'mon, we gotta tell the girls you're back."
Pulling on her hand, Jenni directed her down the staircase as she called out to the meatballs. Outside, Mike joined the guys as they gathered around the picnic table to smoke.
"Sooo," Vinny decided to break the ice. "All that fighting shit is done, though, right?"
Pauly playfully scoffed. "No."
The guys start laughing as Ron shook his head while smiling. "You're an asshole."
"I didn't even know she was gone." Mike commented while shrugging his shoulders making the boys laugh harder at his shade.
Mike "The Situation"- "Guess what? Sammi's back," he grimaced. "And Ronnie's acting, uh, like he's not too happy either, didn't even really say hello to her too much, you know, it's back to the old, uh, Ron and Sam saga."
Back inside, Natalia was in the hallway bathroom, finishing her curls when she heard Jenni call out for her. Putting down the curling iron on the sink top, she headed toward the living room when she noticed a very happy Sam standing with the other girls.
"Holy shit!" she exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"
The girls laughed at her expression before Sam walked toward her and gave her a friendly hug. Pulling away, Natalia gave her a once over while nodding her head.
"You look good." she complimented.
"Thank you," Sam smiled. "I feel much better."
The duo joined the other girls in the kitchen as Jenni poured them each a cup of RonRon juice. Nicole ran her fingers through her hair while looking at Sam.
"Did you see Ron?" she asked quietly.
"Like really, really quick," she answered. "I didn't say anything, just said hello and walked away, I was like "Oh, my god"."
