Cali had no clue where she was when her eyes pealed open. Everything hurt. Her torso, her lip, her eye, her head. Her brain felt like mush in a cage, her soul felt like a deflated balloon. Her thighs burned reminding her and stomach churned at the memories of violations and penetration on her body. She wasn't sure if her eyes were swollen from the hits of fists that crashed against them or the tears that flowed from them. Her mouth was stale from it being shut and throat stung when she moved her tongue. It resembled her heart in a way. Shut off for so long it began to numb and dry out.
She looked around only moving her eyes, to see a blurred, small room with only one bed and a locker. The only light came from the tiny window above her head.
" Ey your awake" she would have jumped in fright if her body wasn't so weak. It was Dallas?" What the hell happened to ya? You was pummelled n bleeding and wouldn't wake up. Scared me half to death." She pointed at her throat as he watched waiting for a response " ah shit hang on ima get you a drink"
He left and came back as fast as he could, she could tell by the sound that they were upstairs somewhere. She gulped down water and regretted it immediately as it hit her sore teeth and gums. " Take it easy I'll get ya more if ya need" his eyes scanned her taking in her every movement and reaction. " Why the hell where you walkin round on a main road? You had the shit beat out of ya. You get jumped?". Dally was honestly concerned and did get a serious shock when she turned and collapsed in his arms. When he got a look at her state as she was shut off from the world, he felt sick. She was tiny in his hold and he couldn't understand what or who had happened to her. He lifted her and carried her into the back of his car not having a clue what to do. He didn't know her and she didn't know him. He had guessed home was possibly out of the question even if he found out where it was as he thought back to her bruised knuckles and split lip the day he met her. Johnny came to mind or even the Curtis house but he knew if he was in such a way he wouldn't want anyone seeing him like that. Dally opted on bringing her back to his place, it was the only option he had. Hospitals made him feel sick, if she needed one he'd get her there, but until he thought it was necessary, he'd bring her to bucks.
He carried her limp body up the stairs of the bar to the bedroom he stayed in. It had one bed and a sofa he would be sleeping on until she woke up. She cried in her sleep and called out or mumbled. He would stay up and watch her, keeping an eye, rubbing her hair on the top of her head when she shivered and shook. He had almost taken her to hospital last night. She calmed down and surprisingly woke the next morning.

Cali was zoned out in her thoughts not noticing her tears that hit his pillow. It smelled like him. She didn't want to leave.
" Cali? You gotta answer me. What happened." He hadn't noticed her crying until her body started shaking again. She began to loose consciousness and her head tiled sideways and the half full cup hit the floor. " No Cali you have to stay awake. Come on stay awake. Do I need to bring you hospital? Cali?." Cali sobbed and eyes grew even heavier as her mind and body shut down. She was brought back a bit when a hand rubbed her cheek and another tangled in her hair. " come on Cali stay awake for me" Dally pulled her body up gently not to hurt her and moved her toward him where he now sat beside her. Her breath hit his neck as she fisted his shirt in her beat up hands and leaned on him for support. Dally had no clue what to say so instead he said nothing. He was only realising that maybe this was more than her just getting jumped. Something else had to have happened to make her this upset and unresponsive and body shut down again. He held her close feeling strange as he was never so close to someone this long in a cuddly, sensitive way. His hand still held her head against him wrapped in her hair and the other stayed on her back. " Are you alri? Do you want me to leave? or....get up?" He broke the silence as he hadn't thought of how she felt with him on top of her, if she wanted him touching her or not. She could be too nervous or too weak to say anything. His heart beat loudly as she hesitated until responding. " No" her weak, broken voice muffled by his neck. " No to what one?" "All of them" he sighed and leaned back against the wall not letting go. Cali didn't want him to. Never again. She wanted to stay here forever.
