Poor DJ.

All of this episode consist of is DJ trying to go home, Chris holding him hostage, and Heather trying to get him to join their team. I understand DJ's desperation to go home, and that's exactly why Chris wanted him to stay. It's frustrating, really. Seeing my friend obviously in distress and Chris nor the producers give a f√ck. They were in Canada for this challenge, they let Duncan leave, so they should've just let DJ leave, too.

Is it crazy to say that between Heather, Sierra, Gwen, Cody, and Courtney, Heather was the only one really giving the competition her all. Sure she's obsessed with Alejandro. I mean, she's obviously in love with him, but at the same time, she saw right through him, and she knew she had to keep tabs on him. Courtney was busy worrying about Duncan. From what I heard, Gwen had a secret motive and was also worried about Duncan, Cody was fighting to stay away from Sierra, and Sierra was chasing after Cody. Heather may be a lot of things, a b1tch, a psychopath, obsessive, annoying, rude, arrogant, a rat, and uptight, but the girl has always been dedicated to the game.

...

Heather stands in their small boat that floats on the rocky coast, looking accusingly at Gwen and Courtney who run over to the rest of their team.

"It's about time you guys got back. Where's Duncan?" Cody asks.

"We thought we saw him," Gwen replies.

"It was just a bunch of dumb rocks," Courtney explains.

"That happens to people whenever they wanna see someone they really like," Sierra says. "This one time, I saw Cody riding a white horse outside my bedroom window, and this was before I even knew him."

"Please, can we stop this story now?" Cody asks embarrassingly.

"I ended up picking thorns out of my tushie for like, a week."

No one says a word. They only look at her weirdly.

"Because I jumped out the window," she continues, but they continue to stare at her silently.

"To get on the horse."

Again, no one says a word. Sierra looks at both Gwen and Courtney nervously as they don't understand her point of view.

"And I landed on a rose bush. Ooh, I have a scar if you wanna-"

She goes to pull down her pants, but the rest of the team screams for her to stop.

"You were dreaming," Courtney starts. "We weren't. To say that we saw Duncan just because we want to is crazy talk!"

...

Despite Sierra being an absolute lunatic, she still makes sense. Which makes this so much more painful, knowing that Courtney truly does have feelings for Duncan, that her feelings are genuine. A small part of me figured  she only claimed to like Duncan to spite me. Because she wanted to hurt me after I didn't join her stupid alliance back on 'Action.' I guess I was wrong. Seeing me and Duncan get closer throughout both seasons probably wrecked her inside. It makes me wonder, was she really my friend, or did she really hate me on the inside?

...

"You do wanna see him, don't you?" Sierra asks Courtney.

"Of course. A lot. But that doesn't explain why Gwen saw him."

"Yeah," Gwen agrees. "It doesn't make any sense at all."

The team stares at her as she just stands there and let's out an awkward laugh.

...

I pause the TV.

"Whoa!" Warner gasps. "Did Sierra just expose Gwen?"

"I think so."

I only stare at the TV. So it's true? I mean, it hasn't been confirmed just yet, but look at her. If she had nothing to hide, she wouldn't act like that. G0d, I can't believe her. Leshawna and Bridgette were right. It's too bad they were both voted off so soon. They were right to be suspicious. If Alejandro were really smart, he would've gotten rid of Courtney and Gwen first.

"Are you ok?" Warner asks.

"I don't know. This doesn't confirm it just yet, but it's something right?"

"I'm sorry, Malibu."

"I can't believe her," I say as I shake my head.

"I can. I watched the uncut version of "Total Drama Island." The way she handled "Lettergate" has never sat right with me. Almost the entire season she claimed that she didn't like Trent, then when Lindsay sent those letters, all h3ll broke loose over a guy she never claimed. She didn't even try to get to the bottom of it. Bridgette knew you didn't send those letters, and you two were just as close as you and Gwen."

I don't like talking about "Lettergate." Friends fight and have disagreements, but this was different. Everyone was against me, I lost all my friends except Bridgette, and they were going to try to convince the guys who were away to vote me off the island. I was basically the victim of a coup. So much sh1t went down at that time, and it felt like the world was against me. To find out years later that it was much worse than I ever knew is heartbreaking.

"Are we really going to listen to Sierra?" I ask.

"I mean, she is Gwuncan's biggest fan..."

"Ugh," I groan as I bury my head into my hands. "You're right. She even came up with that terrible ship name!"

"Come on, let's just finish watching the show," he says encouragingly. "It can't get any worse than this."
