Failure

This is the worst hangover I've ever experienced! Why am I so annoying, I could've easily avoided this "Liiinkk" I complain

"Mhm?" He mumbles bringing me closer to him

"I need paracetamol" I say and he mumbles an ok but doesn't move "Oh shit" I say feeling my mouth water, warning me that I'm going to be sick

I run out of Link's room and into the bathroom and start to empty my insides into the toilet, Link comes in and puts my hair into a pony tail with his blue hair bobble "Linkk!" I cry before throwing up again

"It's ok my love" he says rubbing my back in soothing circles "let it out" he says as I throw up again

"Ewww" I grimace when finish throwing up still tasting the vile taste in my mouth,  "I want to dieeee" I say hiding my face in my knees

"Take this" Link says passing me a tablet and a glass of water

"Thank you" I sigh "why do I do this to myself?" I say but no-one answered me

"KARSON I HATE YOU!" Revali screamed and I laugh

"Sometimes he screams like a girl" I whispered to Link and he both start laughing

"What" Karson says pressing his palms into his eyes

"I've been woken up multiple times by people vomiting and I cant even get out of my own room there's so many bodies!" He yells at him to be fair being woken up by the sound of vomit sounds grim

"I don't want to go to school" I complain resting my head on Link's shoulder

"That's why you don't drink on weeknights" he says massaging my temples

"I guess we better get dressed" I sigh and Link agrees and helps me get up on my feet

We walk into Link's room and he passes me one of his hoodies "thanks" I say putting it on over one of his shirts

"people are going to think your me" Link laughs but i don't have any energy to respond

"hahaha" i say with no enthusiasm at all "Link" i say wanting to ask him about his tattoo

"yeah?" he asks sitting down on the bed

"umm never mind" I say not knowing how to bring up the subject

"Whats on your mind?" he asks giving me a small smile taking my hands and pulling me towards him

"Why do you have a semi colon tattoo?" I ask him, squeezing my eyes shut, feeling bad about being so curious

"I think you know the answer to that question" he says "not all of these scars are from sports or fights" he says with a small smile concealing his sadness

"I'm sorry Link" I say hugging him tightly

"It's okay, I'm okay" he says smiling at me "because of you" he says kissing my cheek

"Zelda!" Impa comes running over to me whilst me and Link eat in the canteen "come with me quickly!" She says pulling me from the table

"But Imp I'm eating" I complain but she pulls me away anyway

"You did it?" She asks, it's not hard to guess what she's talking about, I give a shy nod followed by a small smile "why didn't you tell me!" She says

"Who told you?" I ask confused to who would know,

"Karson" she says, Karson wasn't even there then so he couldn't have heard it "apparently Link told him" she says, that makes more sense

"Oh, well yeah so can I go back now?" I ask and she shakes her head

"No way!" She says "give me the deets" she says

"What! No!" I say walking away from her "I'm not giving you the 'deets'" I say when she follows me

"Fine but answer 1 question" she says and I sigh

"Fine" I say as we neared our table

"Was it his first time?" She asked and I nodded "huh? Weird you would've thought he would've done it before" she says and I look at her

"Sometimes you deeply concern me" I say putting a hand on her shoulder before sitting back down

"Look at her" I hear a girl behind me whisper "if I was Link's girlfriend I wouldn't wear his clothes" She says, 'girl we all know thats a lie' I thought to myself

"I know right she's so cringy" another girl says and I try to ignore them but their voices are the only ones I can hear, not Link's not Impa's only those snarky girls

"I heard she kissed that guy that dropped out at his party last night" the first girl said, great another rumour going around about me, you would've thought that since were in University they would stop with the rumours and grow up but no

"She's the reason Link got stabbed" another girl says, they're right I am the reason he got stabbed! I'm a failure! To everyone, to Urbosa, to my Father, to Link and to my mother! If she could see me now she'd be so disappointed

I get up trying my hardest to keep my composure, as soon as I walk out of the canteen a tear drops down my cheek, 'your such a failure Zelda, you disappoint everyone' I tell myself

I start to run when I see the doorway to outside and just my luck, it's tipping it down "Zelda!" Link calls for me, I cant bring myself to look back at him

I drop to my knees in the pouring rain and Link runs up to me and kneels next to me "I'm a failure Link!" I cry "I'm a failure to you, my father, Urbosa and most of all my mother!" I say tears streaming down my eyes

"No your not Zel--" he starts to say but I cut him off

"Why haven't you broken up with me I'm the reason you got stabbed!" I say through my sobs "If I didn't take you off or if I didn't go to the game or--" I say but he stops me from carrying on by speaking over me

"Zel that wasn't in your control! It isn't your fault! And your certainly not a failure!" He says holding my closely "I heard those girls, and Impa's giving them a piece of her mind" he says wiping away my tears

"I bet she is" I say with a weak laugh

"Your beautiful, kind, smart but one thing your not is a failure" he says smiling at me "I love you" he whispers to me kissing me on my head

"I love you too" I sniffle as Impa comes up to us

"They'll regret existing" Impa says with a smile "why are you on the floor?" She asks and I shake my head before standing up

"I've got a class now so I'll see you later," Link says kissing me one last time

"You're stuck with me now" Impa smiles "do you want to go to Daruk's" she asks me and I nod

"I haven't seen him for a while" I say walking to Impa's car and driving to the Tavern
