Confrontation

Scene: The Agreste mansion, in Adrien's room. Adrien is seen writing on his application form, flipping his pen with a frown.

Plagg: You look even more lost than pasteurized cheese in the French cheese section! How hard is it to fill out an orientation form? All you have to do is write down your request for next year's school and your career goals.
Adrien: I can't write down the truth, Plagg. If Luka finds out that my father's decided to send me to a private school in London next year, it will break his heart and mine, too.
(He lays his head down on his table and frowns. Plagg slouches and frowns as well)
Adrien: What? No cheesy joke to comfort me?
Plagg: I know how I would feel if I had to be separated from you, Adrien, and there is nothing funny about that at all. (He sighs)

Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont, in the library. Marinette piles up every submitted application form and puts it on a table. Max and Kim are seen walking out of the library.

Kim: (to Max) I can't wait for the results of the teacher rep meeting.
(As Max and Kim leave, Luka walks in with his application form. He hands it to Marinette and leaves)
Luka: I hope everything goes well.
Tikki: Luka, I don't get it. What happens at a teacher rep meeting that's so worrisome?
Luka: This meeting is where our futures are being decided, Tikki. The teachers need to review our school performances and decide whether or not we'll be able to pursue the studies we've chosen.
Tikki: If I were your teacher, I'd decide that you're the best!
Luka: (smiles) Thank you, Tikki!
(Adrien notices Lika frowning as he comes down the stairs)
Adrien: Is something wrong, babe?
Luka: I'm having a really strange feeling about something. When we told Marinette about our goals, we all trusted her...

(Flashback starts)

Scene: Each of Marinette's classmates tell her what their dream careers are.

Alya: Well, you know I want to be a reporter, so I'll need to specialize in literature in high school!

Scene: In the school's courtyard.

Nino: Movie director!

Scene: At the Liberty.

Mylène: Just write "Defender of the Earth"!
Ivan: I'll be a stay-at-home dad! While Mylène saves the world. I'll be taking care of the kids.

Scene: In the school's art classroom)
Rose: (dreamily) Hairstylist for unicorns!
Marinette: (off-screen) There's no such thing, Rose.
Rose: Oh, okay... (She strikes a pose) hairstylist for dragons!

Scene: Juleka and Luka's room.

Juleka: (mumbling) I want to be a mortician...
Luka: And I want to be a stringed instrument maker.
Marinette: Awesome! (She takes their folders) That is so you!

Scene: In the school's cafeteria.

Marinette: (off-screen) A nurse?
Sabrina: Well, yes! I love taking care of other people.
Chloé: (snaps her fingers) Sushi!
(Sabrina feeds Chloé a piece of sushi. Marinette frowns at this sight)

(End of flashback)

Adrien: Except that now, Marinette and Lila are the new class reps.
Luka: Yes, and they'll be the ones presenting our friends' forms to the teachers during the teacher rep meeting. And I don't trust either of them...
Adrien: If Marinette and Lila try to do something bad, we'll find a way to stop them. I trust us. (He hugs Luka) I trust you.
(Luka hugs him back, smiling)
Luka: Your file is the only one left, isn't it?
Adrien: I'm... still not sure what I want to do yet.
Luka: It's fine. You still have a little time before the teacher rep meeting.

Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont, in Ms. Bustier's classroom. Marinette, Lila and Chloé stand before each other in front of the class.

Ms. Bustier: Thank you for everything that you've done so far, Marinette and Alya.
Alya: You're welcome, Ms. Bustier.
Ms. Bustier: And now, let's give our support to your new class representatives: Lila and Marinette.
Lila: Marinette and I vow to respectfully represent you during the teacher rep meeting.
(The whole class applauds as Lila grabs the orientation sheets from Marinette)
